“One of the most exciting cocktail bars in this exciting city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2014

The Interior design of the Rosewood really is full on Luxiourious - no expense has been spared on the materials used and the finish is first class and it really works across the whole hotel, however the Hotel staff uniforms are rather incrongious in the City they seem to be dressed as
gamekeepers from a series of downton Abbey- not really the right kit for a city hotspot.

The bar however is great the staffs sassy black kit much more in keeping and the have had a live band on the three occasion i have visited.

Room Tip: Our room had the most fabulous bathroom - I guess its worth asking for a bath if you love baths x

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is wonderful and the three days were wonderful. Room 367 was beautiful and large and the bathroom was luxurious. The restaurants while pricey are great. Holborn is great for breakfast, lunch and as a wonderful evening bar.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor away from the elevator.

This hotel would rate a 5 stars except for its concierge service. Some of the concierge staff were professional and knowledge, but others where not. One concierge after explain we wanted good food sent us to a Tripadvisor low rated chain restaurants. The location was great, the rooms were standard for this type of hotel, and most of the staff was outstanding!

Room Tip: Court yard room very quiet.

This hotel is in a great area and the external architecture is spectacular. Decorated in a stylish Wimbledon theme, the courtyard cafe was a great spot any time of day. The bar and restaurant was fabulous and the reception areas gorgeous! The check in service was excellent and the rooms comfortable enough. The only thing I didn't love was the long corridors that seemed dark and deserted, and easy to get lost!
Other than that, a lovely hotel and although not cheap I felt the value was there in the reception and dining facilities, plus great service and excellent cab availability at all times. I would definitely choose this hotel again, especially if traveling with a partner or friend.

This is what a hotel should be! I took my girlfriend here as a birthday treat which also involved going to the Royal Ballet at the nearby Covent Garden. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as though we were the only guests in the hotel. The entrance is incredibly impressive with a stunning courtyard hidden from the bustling London street outside. The receptionist that greeted us was helpful and polite and, upon arrival in our room, we soon received a bottle of champagne, a card, and an ice-cream birthday-cake for my girlfriend - all complimentary. The room was large with a vast, comfy bed and stylish bathroom. Considering the hotel is in Holborn, there is no noise from outside entering the room. The cocktail bar was impressive too and the breakfast the following morning was simply superb. Everything about this hotel is perfect, it's the best place I've ever stayed in London - by far! It's not cheap, admittedly, but some things in life are worth paying for.

My sister and I spent 4 nights There in August and we had a great time. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are on the bigger side (speccially for London). Location is perfect and very central.
We have nothing to Say but compliments!

was lucky enough to be invited by my future son in law to a surprise engagement party in one of the elegant private dining rooms. Everything about this hotel is class but above all the people are brilliant and made my daughter and her fiancée feel very special
