The hotel was well on its way to a 5 star review. Great location, friendly staff, upgraded to an executive room with the most enormous and comfortable bed. Good quiet air conditioning, lovely buffet breakfast (we were offered some vouchers as we had not pre booked). So all was well until 7am Sunday morning when we were both awoken by what sounded like the return of concord. Turned out someone in the room above was taking a shower and I have never heard pipes so noisy. I appreciate sometimes hotel plumbing can be noisy but It was a shame. Won't stop me using the hotel again for a night though.

Room Tip: try for an upgrade

Older, renovated hotel. Nice, but extremely small rooms, and you have to figure out the light system, as they dont always come on to save energy. Excellent location, walking distance to the underground subway, and excellent breakfast buffet. Just TINY BEDS and Tiny rooms

Overall a good experience. But the room and the bed was so small. I think it is only suitable for a solo traveller. For couples, I would ask for the bigger rooms. My eyeglasses became loose and the maintenance guy fixed them for me. He was so helpful and friendly. I found it slightly pricier to other hotels within the same level.

Situated up a quiet back street just behind the National Gallery and only a few minutes walk from Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square this is an ideal location for visiting central London. The outside of the building is unimpressive (it is a converted 1960's office block) but inside it is tastefully refurbished. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is good. The wifi is free. Only one complaint - the standard rooms have no drawer space for clothes

Room Tip: If you want a lot of space ask for one of the superior rooms

Our stay here was not at all a good experience. The room was terribly small. Every time when we came back in the room we had to re-organise our luggage first, because otherwise we had no chance to reach for the bed. There was no fridge in the room (probably because there was no room left or we just couldn't find it)!!!!! We were woken by a fire alarm in our first night here and when calling to the reception to see what had happened I was told that there is no problem, the alarm stopped (no apology, no reason for the alarm, nothing). The nearby building was being restored so, we had a lot of noise until very late. Breakfast was very poor (no fresh vegetables!!!) Every morning the only thing we could eat was eggs. I can't believe that this is a 4 star hotel! The staff was always untrained, with no experience. They ordered us a taxi for the airport and it came half an hour late. They were always confused. I do not want to come back here.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

We have just come back from an overnight stay at this hotel and it was lovely! The outside of the hotel isn't very inviting but it really is beautiful inside and the rooms are very spacious with lovely décor. The hotel staff are also really friendly and inviting.

Breakfast was included in the price and we were not disappointed!! The food was lovely and there was plenty of it, one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time!

Worth the money! If your looking for a comfortable lovely hotel with a top breakfast in the heart of London- this is the hotel to go to!
