“IDEAL FOR VISITING LONDON”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

This hotel is ideal for visiting London. Right by National gallery and Trafalgar Square. On entering the hotel it smelt really nice. Staff on reception were lovely and spoke English. Breakfast was great, hot and plently of it. The trip was partly to visit London and partly to visit family. We took an exeutive room, but i wasn't impressed with the size of the room or the size of the beds (2 singles) i did expect both to be a bit bigger. Ok for an over night stay, but not enough storage room for putting clothes away if you stayed longer. Had to hunt the extra towels and they were located in the drawer of the desk!!
A small bathroom.
Very happy with the free WIFI.
All in all, a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. I would go back there.

This hotel is very well located just off the Haymarket. It is in a quiet street. The rooms are standard London Hotel rooms, not enormous but adequate. If you want a bath you should request it when booking or you will just have a walk in shower. The breakfasts which are are excellent and there is no need to order from the extra menu.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel, also if you want a bath you must request it.

Booked this hotel as we felt it was central for the weekend festivities. How right we were. Just off the back off Trafalgar square.

Walkable distance from Waterloo station up past Horse Guards and Downing Street.
Very close to Covent Garden for nice eateries and Wine bars.Would recommend Fire and Stone for a great pizza and good atmosphere at the weekend

Arrived at the hotel first impressions lovely and clean. Staff very pleasant and most helpful.
Room was not ready said we could upgrade for an extra cost and that room was ready. Did not want more cost that weekend . We had afternoon tea booked at Fortnum & Masons so it was just going to be a quick turnaround.
Asked we we could leave our case they said we had a complimentary upgrade if we wanted yes please we said !!!!!

We'll what a room it was like a mini suite fantastic corner room first floor .
The receptionist was very accommodating and made a wonderful start to our mini break.

Lovely comfy bed nice wine bar wonderful breakfast and service.

Will use this hotel when we return to London again .

We recently stayed at this hotel for a 4 day weekend. Location is great if you are a tourist in London as it is a five minute walk to Trafalgar or Leicester Squares and Piccadilly might have been 2 or 3 minutes more. Lots of restaurants of all calibres near by. Leicester Square or Piccadilly Tube stops are easy walking distance. If you want to visit Parliament buildings, they are about a 10 - 15 minute walk.

We had a Junior Suite which gave us a little extra room. It also meant we were at the end of the hallway which made the room nice and quiet as we didn't notice much outside noise or hotel noise.

The hotel staff were very helpful and courtious whenever we needed directions to events or advice on dining. We had a need to have a few things brought directly to the room and they were very prompt.

Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to be close to theatres and main squares.

Room Tip: We went with the junior suite which meant a corner room at the end of the hall. We were also on the...

This hotel is great for central purposes, all near Trafalgar Square, lovely walk to Buckingham Palace etc.

Room was excellent, everything that was needed. More than expected.

Breakfast was good, lovely staff, however management had to let things down creating what seems to become negative morale upon its staff. The manager, Kailash, definitely needs to be sacked! The display I observed was sickening. The way he treated his own staff and other guests was very rude. His intonation echoes around the Breakfast room. I have never seen such bad management skills in my life. Shocking!

Besides that, everything else was great.

The hotel was well on its way to a 5 star review. Great location, friendly staff, upgraded to an executive room with the most enormous and comfortable bed. Good quiet air conditioning, lovely buffet breakfast (we were offered some vouchers as we had not pre booked). So all was well until 7am Sunday morning when we were both awoken by what sounded like the return of concord. Turned out someone in the room above was taking a shower and I have never heard pipes so noisy. I appreciate sometimes hotel plumbing can be noisy but It was a shame. Won't stop me using the hotel again for a night though.

Room Tip: try for an upgrade
