Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting the city for Proms in the park and the Olympic parade. on an excellent deal with Travel Zoo.The receptionist was extremely helpful and professional, she appeared to be really bothered about making us happy. A rare thing these days! The room itself was spacious and airy and considering our location was quiet. Breakfast was excellent also and service was swift and prompt. The hotel itself is opulant and gives the impression of granduer and a 'feel good factor', most enjoyable!

A 20 min walk from Hyde Park and easy access to buses, underground just opposite. Has a car park (although this is £37 for 24 hours) and is very close to restaurants and a supermarket.

Room Tip: Go as high as you can to be above road noise

Pick this hotel on a weekend package trip.even got an upgrade on our room which was huge.
Staff were very helpful and very friendly ,especially the bar staff who were great.
Breakfast was buffet style which was ample and great selection .The hotel restaurant. Was ace, well worth visiting .
The only down side was the bathroom which compared to the room in general was a bit of on the small side, but it was clean and everything was working.
Transport, tube station was just across the road, and a stand for the Boris bikes was close bye, plenty of small stores close bye for anything that you may have forgotten to pack, and a 24hr store just across the road, very handy.
The natural history museum is only 5 min walk down the road(well worth a visit) and harrods was about 20 min walk.

Our group of four adults have just returned after staying at this excellent hotel for three nights. Firstly the location is great, only a few metres from Gloucester Road tube station. Upon arrival the doorman very kindly found us two car parking spaces in the hotel car park. The reception staff were professional and courteous. We had two club rooms, which were both very spacious, The 'welcome' fruit selection was a nice touch. The rooms were well furnished, beds were comfortable, lovely thick towelling bathrobes and slippers were provided together with a good range of toiletries. The choice of foods at breakfast was extensive, and delicious. The guest relations officer, Svetlana, had contacted me prior to our stay to ask if we had any special requests or any celebrations during our visit. As we had two birthdays in our party Svetlana had arranged for a birthday cake to be made, this was presented by the Chef and Restaurant Manager at breakfast. I was expecting a small sponge cake, but it was truly amazing both in the way it looked and tasted. It was the best chocolate cake I had ever tasted and was decorated with raspberries and blueberries. It made a special occasion even more memorable. Fortunately there was also a fitness room where you could work off the damage caused by the irresistible food. We had booked the hotel through a special promotional offer, and it far exceeded our expectations. It will be our first choice for any future trips to London.

This is a nice hotel with large rooms and all the usual facilities of a hotel of this sort. I stayed here twice over the summer and I must admit I used a discount offer to stay here. The rooms were clean the bed was lovely and squashy and the staff helpful. There was a bit of a mix up with my first booking, but the staff soon sorted it out and gave me an upgrade for my trouble (no trouble to me at all really). So I can compare the upgraded room with the ordinary room and to tell the truth there was little difference, except the decor was a bit duller in color. I did notice though that the upgraded room's mini-fridge was empty but with a note that room service would provide for any requests etc. whereas the ordinary rooms fridge was (I presume, as I did not even look in it) full with a big notice on the front telling/warning you that if you used anything in the fridge you would be charged.

The breakfast that came with the price was described as Continental which I always understood to consist of just bread, cereal and fruit items, but in fact a full English was on offer, buffet style, in the dining room. The stay was good and comfortable, but I would never pay their full prices as just as good hotels can be had in London for less than their rack rate.
