“Best place in london”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2014

This is a brilliant hotel, situated in the heart of London, with easy accessibility to other landmarks in London, especially with the tube being right outside. The reception staff are extremely friendly and ensured that i had one of the best memorable stays in London.

I would highly recommend Millennium Gloucester for any travelers coming to London

Stayed here with girlfriend for a weekend to see Russell Brand, booked a luxury suite as a birthday treat and was very pleased with the whole experience. The suite was huge by london standards and totally quiet at all times. The hotel manager a Mr Van Dam welcomed us and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Spending this sort of cash can be risky valuewise but in this case it really worked and the breakfast was absolutely splendid. Highly recommended.

If you are out and about all day visiting the many vibrant attractions in close proximity, then this hotel may be acceptable. Location apart, the Millenium is unfortunately a mediocre hotel. My room at least was small, a little scruffy like it needed some refurbishing and not entirely clean. The hotel itself, although the staff are friendly and service orientated, lacks a bit of soul or that little bit of extra that would make you look forward to returning to at the end of a tiring day in the great city of London.

Must recommend Olive's restaurant just next door in the Baily's. Hotel

Always like to stay in the Gloucester Road area when in London. This time chose the Millenium Gloucester. Fantastic, warm welcome and upgraded on arrival to newly refurbished club room. Easy to get everywhere from here as the tube station is just across the road and connects to Piccadilly and Circle/District lines. Really enjoyed out two night stay. If you find the drinks in the bar a bit pricey try the bar in the sister hotel Millenium Bailey or pop down the road to The Hereord Arms.

Decided to stay at this location rather than the Bailey next door, my kids stayed at Bailey last August and enjoyed that, but since my daughter was traveling with me I thought we should try the one next door which is the Gloucester Hotel. First I should say that this is a very busy hotel. When we checked in we had to wait a couple of hours for our room, we tried to check in after a long flight at around 1:15 but were told to come back at 2:00 to check in because the rooms weren't ready. We came back at 2:00 and the room still wasn't ready and we had to wait an additional hour or so to get the room. The reception clerk was nice enough to allow us to use the club lounge since we were staying in a club room, so we sat up there until our room was ready. The rooms are plain, nice enough but I wasn't prepared since this is my first trip abroad. I guess, according to my daughter, that the room is big by European standards. This location is great with many restaurants, coffee houses and services close by along with the tube station right across the street. Couldn't get anything more convenient. Not a super congested area compared to some of the other locations around London. Overall pleased.

Came there for a conference. Hotel is located close to the Underground and getting and to and from Heathrow is easy and fast. The Hotel is a little outdated but gives good value for your money. The staff is like a box of chocolate you never know what you get. Rather the young and inexperienced kind... London is an international city but at least the people at Reservation (Tel.) should be able to speak proper english and understand what guests want. Something to work on. The Executive Floor is not worth the money, the "Club" is rather small and the food really nothing special. The breakfast is not bad, if you can get a good deal it makes sense but paying for it extra seems not the best idea, especially as you can find some breakfast options in walking distance.
All in all not bad for what you pay.

Room Tip: Do not take a Club Room isnt worth it.
