Stayed for 1 night just as somewhere to crash in between landing into Heathrow and transiting through Central London to Leeds.

It's not a hotel chain I'd normally stay in, however I got a good deal and decided to try it anyway for the sake of a few hours sleep & not pay an extortionate room rate elsewhere.

As expected hotel rooms are very old fashioned (albeit clean and tidy) but I slept OK, I was on floor 12 in a club room. It's really close to High Street Kensington so it's got a reasonable location.

Due to arriving very late and leaving very early didn't really get to use the club facilities so can't comment on them.

Would I stay again - probably not out of choice. However it was adequate for the few hours spent there on this occasion.

My daughter and i came to stay for a few days sightseeing in August last year. The bed was so comfortable that I asked housekeeping what type of mattress the hotel used. They promised to find out and email me. They responded swiftly and professionally. The reception staff were a little preoccupied, but all the others were pleasant and polite. There was an error with the room allocated originally, but it was dealt with swiftly and professionally.
We had a wonderful time and were pleased with the room, staff and food.
Would love to go again

We are couple stayed here 7 nights and been breakfast for everyday. Hotel service was absolutely fantastic but disappointing service in hotel breakfast because of waitress was rude not smiling and even can't speak english properly really disgusting. We think she need some training or she is Passing stressful time. Her name Barbara as I have seen from her name badge.
Management should look forward it.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with an organised tour which obviously attracted a discounted rate and so overall was OK. If I had paid the fulkl rate I would be complaining about niddly things such as - towels not being replaced, insufficient milk etc for tea/coffee in room, average breakfast with key absences such as mushrooms and fried bread. The rooms looked dated and bathrooms tired and in need of an update. Air con was noisy and inefficient. Room fridge was noisy - not sure why it was on as there was nothing in it.

Room Tip: the underground runs alongside the rear of the hotel so ask for even numbered rooms. Give yourself p...

The hotel is in need of a make over in particular the bedrooms. The net curtains are so old and look like they are from a different age, 70's. Once you get over this rather obvious flaw and I did,you notice how clean the room is, the bathroom also and there is a very fine FSTV. The bed is firm and comfy and room furniture is dated in keeping with curtains. The lobby is busy and this is where this hotel picks up dramatically , staff are helpful, obliging and seem genuinely friendly. The breakfast is one of the best I have had anywhere, great choices and lots. You will not be hungry until well into the afternoon. The very best feature of this hotel is it's location, three minutes from the High Street and train station. Shops, restaurants and not far from many of London's attractions. Transport to Heathrow is easy, Oyster card is recommended. I will stay here again and I look forward to seeing those dreadful net curtains disappearing.

Well to tell you the truth i pick this hotel for the location more than everything. It is situated in a posh area with easy access to everything around. Close to the city center and main attractions and shopping by bus, by tube and taxi. Its situated best. Around the hotel there are a huge variety of places for food, shops , banks and grocery. Situated in zone 1 so traveling by tube is not so expensive. For the hotel itself now, its has no smoking room. Might be an issue to smoke outside in the cold but good for others. As expected very small like most london hotels. Quite noisy air conditioning but rather good one though. Like the option for warm and cold as per your request and no need to change or ask whether it is summer or winter. The bathroom is a little old. But my worst mark goes for the curtain. It seems the curtain are a little short and right now as it is summer, expects you to be up very early as the sunlight will pierce through between the curtain end and the aircon... Also, there seem to be a problem with the 3plug sockets in the room. You are unable to use a 2 plug in any of these sockets for some reason. Very friendly staff though and there is a nice asian restaurant in the hotel. Worth the location though for this is it a pick....

Hotel was good and reasonable value but I was cross that they charge £10 per day for internet. There are few places that charge including coffee shops, pubs and even McDonald's!
We also had a broken electricity socket broken in our room.
