Clean, tidy, Great Staff, ideally located for Earls Court and a short walk to Kensington High Street. In room coffee making facility ideal for a quick and earl start. Secoond time I have stayed and on both occasions the rooms were a good size and comfortable.

We stayed at the Park Grand this weekend and it is a truly special hotel. Ideally placed for Earls Court and the tube.

The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food at breakfast was excellent and again your staff were very attentive.

We will very much stay again with you.

We stayed for 3 nights here. I was affraid would room look like as it seems at photos of the hotel, but as we came my concern disapeared. Room was very clean, everything was new, toilet was new, carpet without any spot. Bed was very big and comfortable. There was also microwave and iron with iron-desk. In the closet there was about 10 hangers, so we could hang our clothes properly without fighting. Also you don't need any adapters because you have all kind of jack's already in the room. Not to mention that we didn't hear a voice from the other rooms. It's our first 4-star hotel so we were very satisfied.

We loved our little "Marigold Hotel!" I often described it as "aspiring." They try so hard to get everything just right, and they come really close. :) First, the room: it was cosy, but bigger than we'd expected, and the floor-to-ceiling window (that opened!) created a little alcove that I enjoyed using as a reading nook. There were plenty of nooks and crannies for storing "stuff." The TVis big and plasma, and there were plenty of local channels so tourists could really immerse ourselves in everyday British life (if you spent much time on the TV.) Once they promptly fixed the A/C, the temp was always comfortable. We were very lucky to have had fantastic weather during our 6 days in the UK so we often just opened the window. We were on the 2nd (really the 3rd) floor, with a view of Hogarth Rd. Very quaint and relatively quiet. The bath floor is heated tile, and there's a rain shower! No tub, but we seldom use them anyway. There's a small 'fridge and a microwave if you're inclined to need them. Just a short walk up Hogarth to Earls Ct Rd, you're at the Earls Ct tube station, and a few steps further will take you to some terrific pubs, small groceries, and all sorts of other shops. It was hard to figure out which buses would stop anywhere near there, though. The tube was much simpler for us to decipher and use.

Don't rely on the hotel staff for directions! LOL They tried, but they seldom sent us in the right direction. Fortunately, we can read maps. And the free WiFi made it easy for us to look up directions when we were in our room.

The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but everything was spotless, and the housekeeping staff was very responsive. They even brought us a basket of fresh fruit (we hadn't asked) and a large glass bottle of still mineral water.

FoodL we bought the "full English breakfast" option, and it was well worth it. While there were several coffee shops and bakeries nearby, we really wanted eggs, fruits, meats, juices, and even the option of cold cereals to start our busy days. Service was prompt and friendly. The "full" breakfast is a buffet, where we found scrambled eggs, fresh sausage, huge pieces of bacon (more like Canadian bacon), beans, whole roasted potatoes, at least 4 types of sliced fresh fruit and 2 fruits in syrup, cheeses, coldcuts, croissants, breads, rolls, cereals, 4 kinds of juice, milk...pretty much everything you can think of. I drink only decaf coffee and a fresh pot was brought to me quickly, with a big container of cream and brown sugar.

We had dinner there one night after a long day trip to/from Cornwall. I had the lasagna. It was different but delicious. I think the noodles were veggie, and the whole bowl was swimming in yummy cheese. DH had the salmon, which was a bit over-cooked but it was served with wonderful sides. My wine was reasonable and generous.

The lift is long but narrow, and very slow. We used it when we had bags or whatnot, but otherwise we took the stairs.

There were always 2 people staffing the front desk and one or two young men nearby to help with bags, directions (careful there...), and general concierge-type services.

One caution: we asked for a taxi to take us to Olympia Station. It was waiting at the requested time and we arrived in short order, but we were charged double what a real cab would have cost. It was instead a private car that the hotel uses instead of cabs. We asked about it after the fact and the desk personnel seemed surprised at the cost. They actually called the company and 12 pounds is indeed what they charge for a 6-pound ride.

One recommendation for hotel staff: you might consider keeping some washcloths on hand for your American guests. I now understand that it's common not to have them in Europe, but that was the first time we'd run into that and we really do prefer to bathe with washcloths. It's a small thing, but Americans (especially) expect them.

We never heard a sound from other rooms.

Room Tip: Opt for the "Deluxe" rooms and ask for one above the first floor. You won't be disapp...

This hotel was in a great location just a short walk from the earl’s court tube station. The hotel was very clean and well presented with very efficient reception staff. The actual room (and bathroom) were quite small but absolutely perfectly clean and presented. The bathroom has a great shower. I was very happy with my stay and will be booking again and recommending to friends and colleagues.

we stayed for 3 nights in may/2014. the hotel is very close to the subway (tube)- earl's court station. there are a lot grocerry shops and nice pubs around hotel. staff is more than friendly, check in was quick, baggage was left after check-out all day withought problems. Our room was very cozy and comfortably eat (for their concepts), with a beautiful bathroom. rooms require little renovation. All in all, very good value, and I would recommend this hotel for staying.

Room Tip: If you want a small kitchenette, do not expect it. with a regular supply, there is only a microwave...
