Really nice hotel, in a great location. We stayed just one night but really enjoyed it. The breakfast was great, check-in was quick and easy as was check-out. Nice to have a mini selection of drinks, food and sandwiches in the lobby area and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again. Thank you for a great stay :)

As a Hilton Diamond member I get to stay in a lot of great Hiltons. This wasn't one of them. However, that being said I would stay there again due to its fantastic location.

It looks like, that the hotels was once a series of row town homes that somebody tore down the internal walls connecting each home and turned it into a hotel, which that in itself could give the property a lot of character. I don't always need want the ultra-new Hilton, but it would be nice if there were some global standards adhered too other than the soaps and shampoos.

The lobby staff, while they were nice people they were lazy. Often there was only one of them, and they were sitting down behind the front desk.

The room...well, again it was clean and for London it was ok in size. However for the price of $300 per night it should have been quite a bit nicer. The furnishings were neither antique in style nor were they contemporary...they were something I would expect to find in IKEA ... sorta spartan.

My bathroom, several days had a very slight smell of sewer gas. Most likely from the age of this property, but something should be done about it.

Now...all that being said, what you are paying for is the location. It is a couple of blocks from the London Underground on a major line that quickly gets you anywhere in the city. It is also just a walk across the park from Buckingham Palace and not too far from Westminster...so knowing that I always try to stay at a HIlton, my next visit to London this Hotel will be a contender again as I will just have to "grin and bear it".

My first visit to this hotel. This, the second, did not disappoint. Service is slick and quick, prices reasonable for the location. And what a location. Yards from Picadilly, with Green Park just across the road for a stroll, Shepherd market with its restaurants and pubs tucked away around thre corner at the other end of Half Moon Street, then further in both directons to Jermyn Street and Theatreland on one side of Picadilly, and Mayfair/Bond Street/Savile Row on the other side. Victoria Train Station with its Gatwick Express is just a short cab ride away (GBP 10 including tip)
