the concierge was efficient, let me an adaptor, and help me with the road.
The breakfast was nice too, with a big choice.
The single room i had was very little, but quiet and clean.
+ There is no wifi without supplement, which seems to be frequent in London, but quite... uncomfortable for travelers

Worst hotel ever. There was no mention of the works that was happening and the banging that went on to 5pm every day. The fire alarm went off 3 times the first night. The tap in the sink was broken and when I tried to explain to reception staff they obviously didnt have the best understanding of the english language as it wasnt fixed by the time we got back. I was woken up at 7:10 the first morning with the couple next door singing, which wasnt actually that bad, but showed how thin the walls were as you could hear them going to the toilet as well. Was also woken up at 5:00am the last morning with someone next door going for a shower, which was VERY loud. There was also a continuing taping noise that happened every night. The shower curtain looked dirty and the amount of rust on the shower rail was shocking The staff always looked unhappy and unfriendly, and the breakfast wasnt that good either. I will never stay here again, and I would urge anyone to stay at any hotel except this one. The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

Room Tip: Don't stay here, choose a room in another hotel.

Stayed at Central Park 25-27 January 14. Very poor state of repair. The whole place could do with major overhaul. Continental breakfast very limited with yoghurt and fruit (just a bowl of apples & oranges) restricted to full-English option.
Only upsides - very good location and odd numbered rooms fairly quiet for big hotel (unless you get near the lifts!).
Wouldn't use again.

Arrived at 3pm, room should have been available from 2pm. Was told we would have to wait but we had to be at theatre for 4pm so insisted they found us a room ASAP. We got a room within 5 minutes, it smelt of cigarette smoke and there were no towels. We was told they wouldn't have any towels available until the evening. The next morning was woken up by a member of staff knocking on the door to ask us what time we would be checking out!!! BEWARE of the lifts, the doors don't seem to have any sensors, I got my body squashed in the doors twice during a one night stay. Breakfast was ok, continental.

This is quite a big property very close to Baywater underground and barely 3-4 minutes walk from Hyde Park in London. Quite a big property in a good locality dotted with a number of hotels. The rooms are a bit small in size for a twin bedroom and bathroom small with basic facilities. Linens were clean but the carpets seemed dirty and unclean. We stayed on a 4th floor room with big windows facing the road in front. There are however room in the basement without any windows and openings.

The room charges do not include breakfast and wifi rates are quite high. Restaurant is just adjescent to lobby and has a good look. The lobby area is nice and staff courteous but unwelcoming. Not even a porter was provided for carrying lugguage to room. Overall a very average stay for the rates charged.

Room Tip: Never book a room on the ground floor / basement.
