“Brilliant Way to Vacation in London”

For far less than the cost of a cramped hotel room in the city, we had our own 2-story flat to come home to for a week. The living room was comfortable and spacious enough to have guests over as well as spread out with books, games, & souvenirs. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy meals put together with groceries from nearby markets. Our kids (11 & 12) had plenty of space to hang out in their shared room, and the master bedroom was extraordinarily outfitted with its cozy bedding, nightstands, standing mirror, armoire & dresser plus a small extra bed. The free wi-fi was sketchy upstairs for some reason but that was not a significant issue. Also, the washer/dryer took some getting used to (the whole laundry process took many hours for each load) but was still better than having to find and spend our time at a laundromat. Everything in the flat was clean and in good repair.

The neighborhood was extremely quiet yet within a few blocks of playgrounds/parks (Coram's Fields & Russell Square Gardens), shopping, restaurants, and tube stations.
Melissa is a lovely manager, communicating frequently before & during our stay when necessary. We always felt extremely welcomed & taken care of at John Street.
