Had to stay here for a 3 day course recently and the location for the course (Finchley) was ideal, I actually walked to the course a few times which was a couple of mile away.
The hotel is very old looking with great structure both inside and outside, the reception area and the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to offer advise about the local area and were to go and what to do. The rooms I thought could do with a freshen up and maybe a touch of paint but everything worked as it should do within the room so no major issues. The bar area is very nice with a nice atmosphere to it and the food in the bar was very good and the presentation of the food was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and more than enough choice both cold and hot food to set you up for the day.
If I was going back to that area again I would definitely use the hotel again.
You don't have to walk far if you want to eat out as there is restaurants within 10 minutes walk from the Hotel and the tube stop (Hendon) is about 20 minute walk to the high street, Reception will provide a map of how to get there.
Overall really nice hotelMore
