Smallest bathroom I have ever seen. A train line runs at the rear of the hotel and having a bottom floor room is almost unbearable from 5 am till 11 pm at night. No sleep in at this place. Though the bed was probably the nicest I have slept in ever!

Worried about some of the low rated reviews when booking - again I think a lot of people expect too much at this price range in London. If you get a budget deal this place is good value.

Reasonable location although it is a little walk from the tube and a little confusing as they have two buildings about 100 yards apart and you come to the one without reception first. Reception service was efficient. No lifts may be a problem for some people.

Single room very compact! (But as expected). Basic with just a hairdryer, tv and radiator. (No kettle). TV remote had to be rented. Extra costs for safe (downstairs) and extra towels (one small one given only).

Very compact shower/bath pod - but hot water fine and clean. Just soap supplied.

Walls a bit thin so could potentially be noisy - I was woken at 5:45 by the person next door showering - it sounded like it was next to me! Would recommend ear plugs!

Basic 4 item breakfast included - juice, tea, toast and yogurt - other items could be purchased as extras. Breakfast staff efficient and friendly.

The place was clean, tidy and reasonably maintained. If you remember that this is a low budget hotel - you get what you pay for! It is a reasonable good value place to stay.

I stayed a single night, because the hotels I normally stay in were fully booked. At the time more than 95% of hotel rooms were booked in London, and that seems to happen quite frequently, so book well in advance if you can. Now, the reception staff were quite friendly and helpful, but the room was very basic, although clean. I was on the fourth floor, and there's no elevator. Not really a problem for me, although this could be a problem for someone else. The view from the window was quite good, but the small park area next to the hotel seems to attract a lot of teenagers at night time and well into the morning. Good for them, but not quite so good for your sleep, even with the window closed.

Stayed for one night in January, Basic room with TV ,SHOWER and bump beds. This is ideal for families as it is near impossible to get a room for 5 in London with out breaking the bank. This was a cheap two day trip and it was ideal for what time we where going to spend in the Hotel. The Hotel is only a 5 min walk from the bayswater tube station and a nice area to walk and eat. Tube ticket for a full day is 8.90 stirling and kids under 10 I think go free so not to bad.
Hotel did a Continental Breakfast with a choice of four items.
1. Cornflakes or Yogurt 2.Muffin or toast or Plain Croissant 3.Orange juice or Apple Juice 4.Tea or Hot Chocolate. Not great choice but you can purchase a breakfast for extra and it was good value and had everthing you want in a full Irish. I think here if you are looking for a room that will sleep 5 or 6 and you book early enough I think you cannot go wrong if only for one night or two.
We did an early flight to london Stansted 6:30 and got the Terravision bus for 16 stirling return. Bus runs every half hour and you can take any pick up time in the off season so you are not under any rush to get there at a certain time, traveled home on a late flight at 11 and packed it in for the two days.

Very basic, feels like living in submarine, one towel and one soup thrown on the bed as your facilities, stay there if you literally will only sleep, don t expect anything because you will not get.

Be aware that once booked "trapped", its not refundable
Thanks for the hair dryer as the sole and only equipment in the whole room, though I am bald
It turns like a monkey house when they have these school students groups, you better sleep at reception
Will not get closer again

good if you are short on budget. i'd suggest it for young or quite young people and judt for one night. beds are quite good but the room is very poor, the bathroom almost non existent. they say towels will not be washed every one or two days to "save the planet" but i think that's because it is convenient to them
