Although I found it pricey, this has to be the best hotel I have stayed at in a while. Very Clean, Modern, friendly staff and a great location. The experience starts the moment you enter the front lobby, they wisk you to a comfy chair and check you in. I really have no complaints, the room was spotless, the bathrooms where as well. The location of this hotel is ideal, close to the Thames and the Burough Market. Give this one a try you won't be sorry. Internet was complimentary and awesome.

Room Tip: Although they send you to a large elevator at one end of the building, check the other end if the wa...

Great hotel, what you would expect from this chain. Great lobby bar, on a rainy day the bellman gave an excellent umbrella to keep. only drawback is for the price the rooms are small. Other first class all the way. thank you

We stayed at the hotel for one night , we were a group of 8 , so we booked 4 rooms. We arrived very late, the rooms were ready, and checking in was very fast. though one room was not arranged as twin as requested, the staff ensured it was done in a timely matter. The reception helped us find a pizza place to order since it was really late and arranged the order and delivery for us. All four rooms booked were very clean , i assume recently refurbished, it was interesting to see each room differently decorated and painted differently than the other. the beds are very comfortable and had no complaints. The next day we were surprised by the excellent location, it is walking distance from London bridge and several restaurants are right across the street. Very highly recommended if you want clean great service and great location in London for your holiday.

We were staying at this hotel for my partner's 40th, so I booked the superior room.

This hotel is really modern and clean, staff greeted with smile and sat us on the sofa for check in.

The room is really nice, spacious for central London, it had a super kind size bed, writing desk, mini fridge with free soft drinks and water, biscuits as well as a coffee machine (the one that takes capsules). Ironing board and iron are inside the wardrobe.

The bathroom was very nicely decorated, very spacious for any hotel in the world, huge walk in shower with all the toiletries you will need.

Our room is facing the main road and we can't hear the traffic as we were only on 4th floor.

This is so far the best hotel we stayed in London at reasonable price, I am sure there are better hotels in London, but for what we paid, this is perfect!

Room Tip: Book the superior room if you can afford it, it's worth the money.

We stayed here for an anniversary weekend. We have enjoyed the Mercure in Sheffield with good, quality rooms and we expected the same. The check in was different, sat around a coffee table in a retro reception area which seemed new. This was a nice change from the usual impersonal front desk approach. The room was on the fifth floor. We were a little disappointed with size after our Sheffield room experience. The bathroom was particularly small and there was nowhere to sit other then the bed. The room was however airy with a good opening window so we did not need the air con. The room was also cleaned to a high standard and had a good quality bed and pillows. The TV was very small as well and we had to choreography our moving around when getting ready to go out. We did not eat in the hotel as we prefer to try local eateries (we opted for breakfast on the go at the wonderful Borough Market). The hotel is well located for the market and all the wonderful sites and cultural offer on the Southbank.
