Stayed overnight 16th-17th November, very pleasant reception staff, polite and courteous both at check in and check out. Room very clean and tidy and a great shower but the room was extremely compact and bijou! We paid £141 for a standard double which is a fair price for a Central London hotel, however the walkin rate was £419!! The room size and standard was fine for £141 (booked online in advance) but definitely not for the price shown on the board in reception.. Didn't order breakfast so can't comment on this.
All in all a very very pleasant stay
Thank you!

I booked last minute and got a good rate, just as well the rack rate was very expensive. It was just your average room nothing special but clean at least. Breakfast was award winning apparently but not alas today it was just average. Overall it was a fine and pleasant stay!

My daughter is disabled and as part of a 'dream come true' for her we had 3 night stay at this holiday inn, we found the hotel to be clean, helpful staff, especially the concierge who couldn't do enough for us on our arrival, anyone that has someone with complex needs will know how much equipment is involved when planning holidays/breaks away from home. We had a joining rooms which were spacious and very comfortable, the added bonus in my daughters room was a ceiling hoist in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and again the waiters/waitress's were very friendly and professional. With all the sightseeing etc we only managed one evening meal during our stay at the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised with the standard. I am very finicky where steaks are concerned and when I ask for medium rare that's what I like, so many chefs don't know how to cook steaks to order but I'm pleased to say this one does. All in all a very welcoming hotel and ideally located for sightseeing, I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here two nights and although we couldn't open the window the staff were most helpful in advising which was the best setting for air con and they volunteered to move us. Its a great central location with a great set of shops near by with good restaurants and cafes.
We will definitely stay here again when heading to London

Room Tip: ask for a room with a window opening option

Stayed here on a Thursday and Friday evening while attending a business conference in London. Easy to find, 5 - 10 mins walk from Euston, 2 - 3 mins from Russel square Tube station.

Car park under the hotel. £15 for 24 hours which is good value in London. You have to pay in the car park not at hotel reception but they take cash or cards through a machine.

Beware that you are just inside the congestion charge zone.

Check in was quick and business like.

Three lifts, secured by keycard. Quick. 2 minutes was the longest wait

our 5th floor room was small even by London standards, but clean and functional. Our double was more queen size but comfy. Function small clean bathroom. Good shower. Standard IHG toiletries. Workable small desk. No opening window :( Wi-fi was ok in the room. Free for me as a platinum Priority member.

Breakfast was standard HI buffet. V friendly chef guy doing the eggs - pleasant to chat too while he makes fresh fried eggs. This touch is unusual in HI i have stayed in previously (most of them)

I was out all day working but partner had room service and she said it was quick and good.

Had a couple of beers in the bar at night. V friendly & helpful staff in the bar.

Breakfast on Saturday morning was very busy at 8.30am. Short wait but don't mind if all staff busy clearing tables. Seated as soon as possible. Bill for two nights B&B with £50 ish extras in room service and bar drinks was approx £475. Not bad value for almost central London

Overall an OK stay in HI in Bloomsbury. I would use again when in area.

Room Tip: We only had a v small one so cant recommend

Typical London hotel - small rooms, crazy prices and near a tube station! Staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from. Waitrose and Tesco round the corner if you want to make a cheap minibar and 1 minute walk to Russell Square tube station.

A two night stay on arrival in London and would stay here again. Good location, quiet and the staff were helpful. Reception upgraded our room and so our room was very comfortable and spacious. No free internet but as we were going to be in England/Scotland we bought a month programme which gave us unlimited calls, texts and data. Breakfast was very good and was included in the price of our room.
