Simple hotel, simple room, simple bathroom, simple breakfast, cheap price. It's easy to understand that for this price you can't have a luxury hotel, but it is clean and quiet, the girls in bureau are gentle, friendly and smiling, the position is wonderful. It offers exactly what you need for cheap holidays in London. This was my first time in Prince William hotel, but it will be not the last!

I chose this hotel because I cannot sleep in a carpeted room due to my dust allergy, and it is difficult to find a hotel without carpets in London. Luckily, all the rooms in this hotel seem to have wooden floors.

I had the smallest available room which was extremely small. There was no separate bathroom but a very small shower cabinet in one corner and a wash basin in another. There was no toilet bowl anywhere in the room. The shared toilets were quite clearly marked and were not crowded at all, so I believe that most of the rooms in this hotel do have toilets in the rooms. The shared toilets were all very clean.

I had booked a room for two nights. On entering the hotel, the receptionist demanded that I pay it all at once. Their card machine was broken so I had the option of either paying with cash or going outside next door to a cash machine to get cash with my credit card.

I had asked for good cleaning due to my dust allergy. At first sight, the room was not dirty, but a more thorough cleaning revealed a lot of dirt. However, I don’t think a non-allergic person would be bothered by it. There was an elevator literally behind my back while sleeping but it did not bother me at all, it was so silent. Otherwise, the sound insulation is quite bad, as even when your door is closed you could hear people talking in the corridor as clearly as if they were right next to you. The bed was noisy but hard enough for me so I slept well, no back pains.

The room had a window with one glass plus a second glass that covered half of the window. I expect that the room could be cold in winter but luckily there was quite an effective looking extra heater in the room, altough I did not try it. In March the room was ok heated even without the extra heater on. The view from the room was to the back of the building with some construction work going on. I didn't notice any AC, but there was a fan in the closet of the room.

The breakfast was a normal English breakfast, nothing special, only bread, butter, jam, serial, milk, water, tea and juice. It was admittedly not a diverse breakfast. The leftovers in the juice container were really bad, I would recommend to take juice only from full containers. I also tried their evening restaurant; they run an Indian restaurant downstairs in the evenings. It was eatable but nothing special, I would recommend to take a starter as the portion of the main course was smaller than I usually got used to in Indian restaurants.

Except for the difficulty on entering the hotel, the receptionist staff was helpful and overall quite kind, mostly Indians. There was no wi-fi in the room but downstairs it worked better than in any expensive hotel I’ve ever been to.

The location is very convenient: you can take Heathrow Express to the Paddington Station and the hotel is 5-10 minute walk from the station. Lancaster Gate is another underground station that is close by.

Next time I would opt for a larger room with (hopefully) a separate bathroom and (hopefully) toilet.

This hotel is good for location, clean, warm athough very tiny. Reception helpful. I lived on 5th floor. The elevator is only to 4th floor. So, if you have havy luggage, be aware of that. Please remember that there is no hairdrayer in room, you have to ask it at the reception.
Breakfast is very poor and all the same every day (bread, jam, cheese, cereals, coffe, tea, milk, juice). Be aware and don't drink juice, those whitch are left a little in a container!!!! It's poison, not juice. I felt immediately sick after havig a little sip! Brrr....
By the way, they still have a deposit of 10 pounds, as it's almost 10 days after checking-out.

It's good value for the price, One cannot expect more for the money. It was perfect for a 4 days trip! My room (#55) was ensuite, tiny, warm and as it seemed renovated. The matrace was horrible, room cleaning didn't take place. Breakfast was buffet and ok for british...

the room was very clean as well as the bathroom; the only thing is that you have to regulate the heat if you want to have a little bit less of warm insie the room.
the location is perfect, very close to the underground station and the bus stop, and if you want to have a look around by walk it's very close to Hyde Park and Piccadilly as well!
the staff has been very nice and helpful, even we left the room at 1:30 am!
good value for a low price!

This hotel is a good hotel for anyone on a budget. It is located about 150 meters from Paddington train station and the Bakerloo line will take you into the middle of the West End in a couple of minutes. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. The shower is not suitable for a very large person. Bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The breakfast consists of juice cereal toast and cheese, probably what you would have at home yourself. You can also buy a hot breakfast but I stuck with the continental one, more healthy. The staff a very friendly and helpful. Not a hotel for a romantic getaway but a great one for a budget trip to London.

Room Tip: Get an on suite room.

Ok let's starts with the positives, the location was good few minutes for the tube and train station and good range of shops and restaurants. The reception staff was very helpful and polite but however it is less to be said about the breakfast staff were so miserable and blunt - I'm not sure if anyone wanna see miserable staff during breakfast! Lets face it's not a good start to a day! While we're on the subject of breakfast we paid extra £10 per person for a full English breakfast and we literary got a sausage, a bacon, an egg, baked beans (looked like it had been left on the side) and some tomatoes (tin tomatoes not fresh tomatoes)!
The hotel from the outside looked ok but once you're inside everything looked like its was about to fall apart! To be honest the hotel could do with some paint!
The room was was even more disappointing the bed feels like it will fall apart as soon as you turn and it squeek (I barely slept!).
