Having had our honeymoon in Mexico cancelled due to the ash cloud, we decided to head into London for a few days. We found this hotel on the internet & just turned up at the door with no reservation, they were very welcoming & gave us an excellent rate on the room. We had 2 nights here - the location is just a few hundred yards from Harrods & just near the science museum. Its a very nice area to walk around with plenty of restaraunts & sushi bars to fill you up. There is also a cheap internet cafe just round the corner next to South Kensington underground station.
We will stay here again the next time we visit London.

We stayed in London as BA cancelled our flight elsewhere. They did us a favour! Excellent location for sightseeing and Englands rainy weather.. Free Museums opposite, Harrods up the road. A few tube stops to the large Westfield Shopping Centre. The area seemed safe at night and excellent restaurants nearby. The staff we encountered were all pleasant. Breakfast was very good, we found. The room was small but not in it for long and it was adequate for our needs. Where we were located no noise from outside. Downside, you could hear the people in the next room at times. Though at night time it was quiet. Did not put us off and hope to stay again.

I don't have one negative think to say about this hotel. The hotel was beautiful the staff were welcoming and polite, the rooms were immaculate and the service was excellent too.

The hotel is situated in Knightsbridge, it is about a 7 minute walk to harrods and right facing the History museum. There are lots of shops, cafes and pubs within a stones throw.

Directions - get of the underground tube at South Kensington (Piccadilly Line). When you come out of the ticket barrier, turn right and enter the subway and take the first exit on your right. Come out of the subway and turn right and continue straight and the hotel is a couple of minutes walk on.

The hotel is very close to everything and easily accessible from the Tube. Good breakfast. Traffic is annoying but otherwise good value for money. Hotel wanted to charge me for newspaper that they delivered to my room without asking though. However, I would definitely go back but bring earplugs.

On first impressions this hotel looked very nice, both exterior and lobby were very elegant.
However we were more than a little dissapointed by our twin rooms the hotel claims to have three bedroom catagories "superior, executive and grand" I would have place ours as basic, they were very dark, small and had ring marks all over the wooden surfaces.
Breakfast however was excellent and the bar area very cosy.
As far as location goes it was very good for shoping with Harrods only 10 minutes walk away.
This is a reasonably priced hotel which is in need of updating some of it's bedrooms.

We stayed here in early March on a weekend in London to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a complimentary bottle of wine provided in the room. The location is ideal for west London and room we had was large and quiet with air conditioning and a jacuzzi bath. Although hotel rates in Central London are never cheap, this was almost the only London hotel that includes breakfast - and a good one at that, which makes the rate much more attractive. A wide variety of very fresh food was offered for breakfast, indeed it was the best hotel breakfast we have seen for a while. My only comments for improvement would be that more fresh fruit could be offered - apart from some melon, the rest was in light syrup - and that a second toaster would prevent queues building up in the morning rush. There is a health suite next door which looked lovely although we did not use this. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Stayed for one mid-week night on a business trip and this is certainly better than the typical central London, mid-priced hotel. Spacious lobby, nice bar and lounge, excellent breakfast (included in my price).
Rooms on the front are a bit noisy from traffic (double glazing not up to much) so ask for a quieter, back room if possible. But lovely comfy double bed, reasonable sized room, free broadband (cable provided) and wi-fi in the public areas. Complimentary papers and friendly staff.
Seemed to be mainly tourists and ladies on shopping trips when I stayed. Great for popping across to the V&A for a cultural hour or Knightsbridge, if that's your thing.
