There is almost too much to take on board in just one visit. The Churchill/Cabinet War Rooms themselves are very interesting but there is also the added bonus of the Churchill Museum, which is amazing and worth the entry fee in its own right. The audio guide is very informative and about the right level in terms of detail. The War rooms themselves have been restored exactly to how they were, and in some cases, have not been altered at all since WW2. It really does create a sense of having been there.
The Churchill Museum is about half the way around the tour of the Churchill War Rooms and is very informative about Churchill's life in general. The interactive "table" is great fun, particularly when someone finds the key events that have bombers flying by, or the Titanic sinking - you have to have seen it to appreciate what I mean - so why not visit? You will not be disappointed!
