I have stayed in many london hotels and although I was not blown away by this hotel, it was a nice pleasant, easy overnight stay.
Check in was quick and easy, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We arrived a few hours early to leave our bags but were informed our room was ready, so that's a bonus.
Room was nice, quite basic, but had everything we needed, and it was reasonably spacey for London. Bathroom was quite small but it was really nice and very clean. No bath, but shower was good.
Our room (level 4) had a small window that could be opened which is very unusual, but great as it did get a little hot so we could let some fresh air in.
Breakfast was nice. I was offered tea or coffee, but they made me a hot chocolate with no problems.
Check out was swift and every effort was made to make sure we were okay with bags and taxis etc.
Nice hotel in good location, 2 minute walk from tower hill. Would stay again if in the area.

Yes this is a big hotel, yes you may have to queue to check in and out or for breakfast, it is not the Ritz but it offers everything a visitor wanting the very best that a non luxury hotel can offer.
Comfortable & very well equipped (only missing enough drawer space) rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, quiet location yet just a short walk from the underground, the river taxi service, The Tower of London & St Katherine Docks.
Efficient room service, superb roof top bar with amazing views, secure underground parking, great buffet breakfasts, lots of cute ideas such as a mini book store, a snack counter, in room Apple computers/TV, naturally wifi, hot cookies on check in.
Plus every member of staff we met could not have been kinder and more helpful.
We will return again and again

Room Tip: Be nice to the very busy reception staff

If you need to stay near the London business district or want to tour the Tower of London then this hotel is just a short walk away. Or if you want to travel further then taxis are plentiful and the Tube is less than 5 minutes walk. Once you are inside the hotel, it is well maintained clean and most important of all, it is quiet.

And visit the Skylounge bar for a great view over Tower Bridge

Stayed at DT by Hilton, Tower Bridge, literally within minutes of the Tower Hill tube station, could not be easier to get around London. Hotel very comfortable and staff friendly. Great location to visit sites and with London Tower on your doorstep lots to do in the immediate area.

This is certainly a hidden gem very close to London Tower and easy walk to many resturants. We found all staff extremely pleasant from the front desk to the wait staff in the City Cafe. We asked for an executive room as we had a later flight and they accommodated our check out at 300 pm.
Room service was on time and had a very good selection for breakfast. We did use the executive lounge several times throughout our stay and found it well stocked with food and beverages. I would certainly recommend this hotel whilst staying in London...

Room Tip: Executive room gives you a little more flexibility. Well worth it.
