We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in the city for the marathon. High standard as always and enjoyed our stay.

Friendly, fast service at check in and out with warm cookies, nice touch. Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you need (power shower not bath) but a little small. Our view wasn't good either but we weren't there to look out windows!

Location was fab for sightseeing. Great views of Tower Bridge and Tower Hill underground and dlr station are 2 minutes walk.

Food at breakfast was brilliant - huge selection. Skylounge was amazing - terrific views across city and fantastic cocktails but very expensive. We went to natural kitchen on ground floor that did brilliant food and drinks at half the price. Between 5-7 each day was happy hour - would recommend. Lots of other eateries and bars nearby too.

We really had a great stay at the former MINT hotel which is nor rebranded Doubletree. Spacious, modern rooms, the great food and of course the sky bar were some of the highlights here. The staff was friendly at all times and we will go back for sure.

We stayed at the Tower Of London hotel for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were upgraded to an executive room with access to the executive lounge. We enjoyed a lovely stay, perfect location and the hotel service was exceptional. Many thanks to Lee for arranging. We will definitely be returning.

Following a mix-up over rooms when checking in, I spoke to Guest Relations Manager Giota who sorted the problem immediately, gave us complimentary drinks and snacks and ensured everything was in order each time she saw us. I would return just for her helpfulness and her smile. The sky bar which serves food outside, weather permitting, has great views of The Tower, The Shard and Tower Bridge. The food in the City Restaurant was very average. There were only 4 tables occupied but they forgot our pudding course and had to be reminded. Beware that there is a 12.5 % service charge added to all bills for food and drink. My partner suffers from claustrophobia and cannot travel in elevators but the solitary staircase is difficult to find.

Room Tip: Rooms on lower floors have poor views.
