Very handy for the O2 and docklands business area, just round the corner from both the tube and the DLR (docklands light railway). The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room could be described as a little tired, but a good size by London standards. The linen was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast had a limited range of food, but was perfectly ok. The restaurant has a wonderful view overlooking the water.
Despite the shortcomings, the hotel was very good value compared with other London hotels I've stayed in

Aged oppulence, decor very tired, cracked sink in room, no complimentary biscuits, staff friendly and helpful. Great location we stayed overnight to watch the atp finals at the O2. Suggest getting the thames clipper to the O2.

I have been using this hotel since it was built some 20 years ago , how it has gone downhill , worn out sofas in public areas and dirty rusty window frames complete with the smell of chlorine in the bar area . The rooms are also very tired with torn wallpaper worn out mattresses and pillows and battered furniture. Was a double room however more like a 3/4 bed . The whole place is in serious need of a refurb . The budget coffee sachets in the rooms reflect the hotels' present state .

Checked in early, very friendly reception staff, great location for the O2. Nice room but not much of a view not that we cared, we were in London to see the tennis. Didn't eat in the hotel but the menu did look appetising. Easy checkout on the morning. Booked through booking.com and had a great deal on price.

The first room was not like any in the pictures on the hotel website. It was small, the colors of the curtains and bedding were a clash of green and orange circa 1970. When I went to use the hair dryer which was hard wired into the wall it started to glow red hot and wouldn't shut off making the entire room smell of burn plastic. They did offer to give us another room which was vastly different, even though it was just two doors down the hall. It was twice as big, the color scheme was much more cororinated and the room was in overall better condition. We booked this hotel for the pool, but beware it closes early. If you plan on doing anything out in town during the day hours you can forget about using the hotel pool. On the plus side the rooms both had a really nice view. It was nice to have a cup of hot coco and sit and watch the lights on the warf.

This was a good hotel in an easy accessible location. The hotel is a lot better than the last time I stopped here. The room was good and clean and the full english breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful and me feel welcome.

This is not the grandest or cheapest hotel in London but we found our room very comfortable, clean and bright. Some of the furnishings were looking a bit tired but certainly nothing to make an issue over. Breakfasts and dinners were both buffet style meals with plenty of variety on offer and we found the food excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the nearby docklands railway was a bit noisy and could possibly disturb a light sleeper. The good news is that the trains stop soon after midnight!

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms are on the quite side away from the railway.
