Good location, choice of restaurants and nice breakfast. Everyone was helpful and the special offer made it good value for money. A little dated as some say but didnt really feel this was a problem. Worth upgrading. Could do with employing a window cleaner though, as the views would have been much better !

Staff are friendly but the hotel could do with updating. The bar looks quite shabby. Food is okay in the Spice restaurant but choice is limited if you are here on a deal. I would be happy to stay here again if I had a deal but not at the full price.

We stayed here as we had vouchers for a free weekend. On arrival the hotel was lovely, the staff polite and they upgraded us to a Suite.

The room was lovely and clean, and we had a jacuzzi bath in our room.

The bar was lovely and we ate in the Spice restaurant once, the food there was lovely.

There is a couple of restaurants if you leave the hotel and walk left towards the water edge.

Iit is situated a 3 minute walk from the Underground.

Room Tip: we stayed on the 11th floor in a double suite, the room was lovely, you could hear the DLR on times...

Very pleasant reception staff upon arrival. Given a free upgrade and given room 1113, views along the Thames. Large room with a dining table and chairs, a wall of glass, chandelier, very large bed etc.

As others have commented, the hotel is dated but if you book with an offer, b&b, 2 course meal, bottle of wine for £99, given the location, it is absolutely incredible value!

The underground station at Canary Wharf is 5 mins away as is the DLR. we went to a concert at the O2 which is one stop away on The Jubilee line, so is excellent.

We ate in the pizza cafe, the service was excellent and the waitress very helpful and friendly. The pizza was very good. The chocolate cake lovely.

Overall, for the price we paid, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Room Tip: Get a room as high up as possible, overlooking the back, otherwise the DLR might be noisy.

Beware when you book.

I've been staying there regularly recently.

Out of the 30 days I stayed, around half the occasions I was told at check-in the room I had booked in advance was actually not available.

This involved a 40min journey to their lower quality Hampstead hotel. Although the cab was inclusive of the rate, but I had booked the International for an important meeting in Canary Wharf. The delay in checking in, waiting time, the 40mins journey there, the journey back lost me 4 hours of sleep.
On another ten occasions I've pre-booked doubles, and on arrival, have been told he doubles are full.

This is regular. I've had a lot of patience and gave the benefit of doubt. But when I did eventually ask if this will continue, the member of staff confirmed they do not take bookings seriously and the next time I pay for a double room, it may not actually be a double again and nothing will be done to ensure it does not happen again, as this is the norm. He did not see what was wrong.

A 4* hotel engaging in false advertising they also need reminding the booking is a contract.

I was very happy with the location of the hotel as the DLR was close by and Canary Wharf Jubilee line was close so it meant travelling to attractions were easy. The hotel it self is very out dated and smelt of smoke while checking in early i had room service try and come in which i felt uncomfortable with even though the Do not disturb sign was on i was fortunate to get a free upgrade to my room which i felt was very nice the staff were great and checked me in quickly with no hassle overall the stay was comfortable and i was pleased thank you.

A damp smelling room is not a good start, the fact it looks like it is attempting to be Harry Selfridge's parlour (in the early 1920s) doesn't help. Only one usable 13a socket, all other those stupid little 3-pin affairs and demonstrate this is a hotel un touched since the early '90s at best. Location's nice enough but is tricky from the tube station, very dark in winter, wouldn't wish to be a woman alone negotiating it.
I won't be back
