Very hot rooms no air condition
Paid £157 for an old disgusting dirty hot room
The bed was small of a single bed and that room was an executive double
The room very hot smelly old fashioned dirty I don't know what to say more
Just don't stay there
Very rude attitude from the staff
They talk with no manners and argue with u

I think the best thing and the politest way To describe this hotel is a dust bin of the hotels and a cesspit.

DONT BOOK THERE.

The staff were lovely and welcoming and provided me with excellent advice on how to get around London! For the price paid you would expect more modern furnishings and a fresher feel. The cleanliness was okay but not spotless, and as mentioned by previous reviews the room was so so hot. Uncomfortably hot.
A shame because the hotel could be quite classy.

An extremely tired hotel, in dire need of refurbishment.
To claim 4 stars and not have any working air conditioning in the hotel (not in public areas, or my room) on a day when temperatures in the room reached 27 degrees is very poor.
The bathroom was dirty. The room window could not be closed, meaning I was listening to the rumble of a nearby DLR train at 12:30am and 7:00 am in the morning, though at least it gave some air. Torn wallpaper, holes in the walls of the room, badly chipped furniture. Chipped and cracked crockery in the rooms' tea & coffee making facility. A breakfast buffet that was more like a rugby scrum due to poor siting, right next to the kitchen access and with too little room to get to the adjacent juice area. Too many tables crammed into the breakfast room, so everyone needed to shimmy around them. When I returned with my hot breakfast to my table, I found that my freshly pored tea and juice had been cleared away by over zealous staff, along with my hat, which I had used to indicate the table was occupied. Fortunately this was found and returned. Dirty windows in the public area overlooking the Dock. I could go on, but tire of this place...
Avoid this hotel!

All that has been said before is correct and accurate. But the big thing is that the rooms are hot. Management hasn't read the reviews nor have taken action for the comfort of it's guest. Hence they get the reviews that are written. It's also worn and getting dated.

Opening a window for crack about 1 1/2 - 2 inches is not acceptable.

It's a shame, as it has pretty potential to be a good business class hotel. Instead I think they are on the coach tour route and take the business that way. Sorry for the negative review, just being honest

Room Tip: since the rooms are hot, choose a low floor that is not on the sun side

I paid an average of £250 per night. For that I got a shabby dirty and threadbare room and a tiny single bed when I'd ordered a double. The air con does not work in this hotel because, according to management "the owner won't pay for it to be fixed, he just treats this hotel as a cash cow" Consequently you have to beg the staff to unscrew your window for fresh air. the hallway carpets are threadbare to the point of being a trip hazard. There are no irons in the room, no amenities. The gym is disgusting. Broken equipment and health and safety hazards galore. They charge you £4 per visit and the gym staff are really rude. I forced the hotel manager to look at the dirty shabby gym and he admitted he'd never been down to it. Broken mirrors held together with duct tape. The hotel was so shabby I had no desire to trust the food.

Imagine a hotel from hell and this is it. Weirdly the staff were all very friendly

The quality of room was worse than a motel . Breakfast, an extra, was poor. Temperature control non existent

It would have been cheaper to have hired a car to take me home after the event.

The only positive was the view accross one of the docks and walking distance from the underground

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst attending a concert at the O2 arena. The plus side is that the hotel is situated in Canary Wharf and therefore close to tube station. The staff were polite and friendly although we did have the cleaners knocking on the door twice before 9am when check out time was 12.00. On the down side it was a hot night and the air conditioning was set at 25 degrees and didn't seem to want to be reset to a lower temperature - an affective way to prevent customers from using it! The room decor was old and the fittings tired and shabby - certainly not the quality expected from a 4 star hotel.
