Stayed for one night with our son as he had surgery next morning at hospital close to hotel. Rooms were filthy and had a guy from the house next door playing piano and singing till midnight. Just as we fell to sleep the laundry lorry rolled up at 4am to deliver new bedding. Absolutely no consideration for people sleeping. Eventually had to reschedule my sons surgery. Terrible place, stay away!!!

We booked a quad room with 4 single beds through Travelstay, we got a double bed and 2 singles, not the hotels fault. Travelstay should have told us the quad with single beds was already booked. The hotel was very clean. The en suite very small and could only just get through the door because the bed was in the way of opening it fully. Good toiletries in the room. Fridge, Hairdryer and tea and coffee. The breakfast rashers are not bacon (god knows what it was), bu the rest of the breakfast was good. I would not call it a 4 star hotel. It was a great location, however if you are booking a taxi make sure you book it for about half an hour before to get to your location. Our taxi arrived 20 minutes late and we only just got our train with only 3 minutes to spare. Plenty of restaurants, the Thai noodle is excellent, I visited this restaurant 5 years ago and it is still as good. The reception staff are so helpful, polite and always smiling, nothing was too much trouble.

Room Tip: If booking a quad room and you want single beds ring the hotel direct to see if one is available.

Nice situated hotel in a nice quite area. Close bu Queensway underground station and Queensway with shopping and restuarants. Quick undergtround access to center of London. Hotel breakfast good, however the dining room was very small and crowded.

Does not warrant a 4 star rating. Rooms are super small, the bathroom was like an airplane bathroom with a shower added. You could rest your chin on the sink while sitting. Would be very uncomfortable for larger people. Smallest elevator I've ever seen (rated for 4 people...4 SMALL people)- we got two rolling bags and one person in the elevator and it was full. My husband had to walk up the stairs to meet me on the 5th floor. Fairly decent continental breakfast, good variety. You probably don't want to pay extra for the English Breakfast. The ladies at the desk were very helpful if we needed something, however one was overly enthusiastic and practically yelled at us trying to initiate a conversation each time we walked through the lobby. Also, the room has no air conditioning, so we needed to sleep with the window open. While the window was large and offered a lot of ventilation from the 5th floor, the noise from the street was almost too much to sleep through. So many cars and loud people talking and hollering at each other was difficult to deal with. Bring ear plugs. They were also having issues with their wifi as well and we were not able to connect to the internet during the daylight hours which made figuring our way around a bit difficult.

The hotel is in an excellent location to Bayswater and Queensway stations and near Kensington Gardens.

Room Tip: Do not accept a room on the ground floor or rooms starting in the 100's

Arrived at 0030. Check in ok, though there was a delay - got the distinct feeling my booking was lost but eventually, ok. Got to room, 6th floor, key didnt work. Trudged back down stairs (lift claustrophobic) to "reset". Room booked was double, received room with double bed and two singles.....stuffy room, couldnt open window! Severe damp patch in bedroom, wall / ceiling. No wifi...... Complained to reception, suggested to change room in morning....... Hotel did not contact me again to change - service? No wifi next day either. Poor hotel, poor service...terrible room with damp patch on wall. And as advised by hotel...i received an upgrade room!!!
