Stayed twice now and really like this hotel ! Convenient to Westfield shopping ! Bit of a trek to central London but good for general places!! Used bar and gym and rooms are a little small but ok! Nice feel to the hotel! Would use again ! went to theatres and trafalgar from here so don't hesitate

I had expected a bit of luxury from a Hilton, however this was very ordinary and more like a cheaper branded chain of hotels. We had booked a deluxe room, but the room was cramped and quite ordinary, although I was shown two more rooms, they offered nothing extra. Also there was only one bathrobe, one cup and a hair in the bath. All of this was put right very quickly by the chambermaid. Also the bathroom is tiny. After speaking to the manager about our disappointment, he was wonderful and gave us unlimited use of the executive lounge. Worth having and I would recommend paying for it anyway. The thing that does set this apart from less reknowned chains is the service. Wonderful staff, and a brilliant concierge.

This is hotel is in a location you might not consider for a London visit, west of Notting Hill (very nice), just east of the brutal concretist Shepherd's Bush roundabout (not very nice). Consider it anyway. Holland Park Avenue is a broad leafy boulevard lined with smart homes, schools, and nice eateries, and while the walk to Shepherd's Bush tube station is short and miserable, the longer walk east to Holland Park station is very pleasant. The 94 bus will take you from the hotel's front door straight to Piccadilly. If you're arriving via Heathrow Express or other trains from west / northwest into Paddington, the station is a short ride away.

Property itself is modern, comfortable, and well-kept. Recent updates to rooms include top-flight bathroom fixtures and lighting, lots of plugs for charging your devices, and a large HD television (though with sharply limited channel options -- no Sky or CNN, not much sport).

The immediate neighborhood has few apparent pubs or restaurants -- there is a ghastly sprawling Wetherspoon's in a shopping complex on the other side of the roundabout, but that's about it; the nearest inviting options are 10-15 minutes' walk east -- so you may be tempted to use the hotel's lounge bar. But I found it disappointed. A weak range of beers on tap, sold at top prices -- Guinness but no London Pride, etc. And on a Saturday night, with the place nowhere near full, the kitchen found itself unable to make me a cold salmon sandwich given one hour -- I ended up canceling my order and going to bed hungry. Fortunately the breakfast buffet next morning was generous and good.

Only average value for the money but not a bad location with plenty of transport options, and you can do an ambitious pub crawl through Notting Hill Gate and weave back out here afterwards; there are worse arrangements all over London.

As a business user of Hilton hotels (I am a Gold card holder) I booked this due to cost and location. I didn't actually spend that much time in the room as I was at an event elsewhere for most of the time and only used the room for 2 hours work on my laptop and six hours sleeping. The wifi in the room was useless and kept disconnecting and the room was next to the service elevator which was incredibly noisy when the doors opened and shut. Due to the lack of time that I had I didn't complain. Now bottom of my list of Hiltons in London!

Close to Shepherds Bush and just outside the congestion zone, this is ideal if you need a hotel west of Central London. The sevice and food were good, but the general decor lacked individuality, so you could be staying in any one of a number of hotels of a similar level.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room at the front as the road can be noisy.

Best buffet breakfast I had in all of my time in England!

Rooms very modern, clean and comfortable and good size for an expensive city like London. Really comfy beds too!

Free internet in the lobby was good and concierge was really knowledgeable and helpful.

Hop on hop off bus connector bus stop is across from the hotel, so even though it is a bit out of the main city sights it is easy to get in by hop on hop off bus or rail station down the road. Lovely leafy area of London and 5 minutes walk to the big Westfield shopping centre which was convenient for restaurants too.

We have just spent a wonderful weekend in London and stayed at the Hilton, Kensington. Can thoroughly recommend it. Staff very helpful and room very modern and clean. Had breakfast included and it was exceptional with an amazing choice. Loved the decor in the public rooms. Big thank you to the concierge - we left our bags before checking in as we arrived too early and then also on the day we left and picked them up before going home. Thank you to the hotel for the bottle of champagne - it was our 40th wedding anniversary. The hotel is very near Shepherd;s Bush underground (central line) and also near to Westfield shopping centre which has a great selection of restaurants. We did a tour of The Albert Hall including afternoon tea. On Saturday we did the London hop on hop off sightseeing bus tours including a boat trip and went to see the show 'Stomp' in the evening - it was brilliant. On Sunday we visited Kensington Palace.

Room Tip: We were in room 5028 - just around the corner from the main road and on the 5th floor. No problem w...
