We booked this as a mystery hotel online. We were not disappointed and had a great time. We arrived very early, and although could not get into our room we were able to check in. The staff were really friendly. We left our bags and walked to Oxford street, about half hour walk.
Our room was on the 6th floor and facing the back, overlooking houses. It was so quiet, even with the AC running. The room was bright and clean. Only problem was the pull out bed that our daughter tried to sleep in was very uncomfortable. the mattress was like sleeping on rocks (her quote!) Breakfast was very good, hot and plentiful. We did use the pool and other facilities. It wasn't too crodwed but I suppose that it depends when you use it, What a bonus being in central London. Although this hotel is not particularly close to a tube station, the walk was nice. No touristy crowds to fight through and an easy journey when returning to Liverpool street. We have stayed at many hotels in London and I would say this was one of the friendliest and laid back. We will be going back.....soon I hope !More
