My wife an I decided to stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. We used points for a one night stay. If I had paid the going rate. starts at GBP 500 per night I would of been very disappointed. The room was small and while having a nice view over Park Lane and grounds it was not worth the GBP 500 that would need to be saved to stay in such a room. I think they must save such rooms for point users as we will not complain as we haven't really paid for the night. Breakfast was very good and top rate. Maybe I will stay next time as a paying guest and see what type of room I receive.
