Stayed here with the brother-in-law, and it was perfect for us as its just enought outside of London not to get caught up in the Traffic Jams while at the same time we were able to vistit all the west side of the city easily.

We had a hire car, and were able to park it on the street at night, right outside the hotel, without having to pay any Parking Charges

Room we had was a bit small (for a hotel outside of Central London), but we would gladly return to stay.

Room Tip: Park on street at night and avoid Hotel parking Charges !

My daughter, Emma and I had to stay overnight while recording for the BBC at the TV Centre. before half term.

The first factor in it's favour was that there is no need to enter the congestion charge zone and it is relatively easy to reach as the M4 passes within a few miles. Tom Tom set for "avoid toll charges" should keep you clear of trouble.

Parking and check in was simple and quick - all done in 5 minutes. Reception was excellent, quickly changing rooms to put my daughter Emma in neighbouring rooms. Rooms were simple but comfortable and my one complaint was that the tea making facilities should have been for 2. I might be picky but there should have been 2 of everything. I had the room to myself so there was no problem but had I been sharing it could have been different.

Dinner was excellent - nice table location, good range of dishes, attentive staff and swift service.

After a good night's sleep we went down to a good breakfast - No complaints - selection of hot and cold dishes regularly replenished and we left satisfied.

Normally if the recording isn't completed in one day it goes into a second day but due to half term our visit was split into two and Sunday found us back on the M4 for London. "Returning is the best complement" - both of us were looking forward to the stay at the hotel and to the evening meal I had had the pollock (excellent) on my previous stay and surprised myself by going for the Burger and Chips - Eat your heart out MacDonalds - a large, thick beefy burger rather that a limp bit of gristle and the chips were men's chips not these tasteless, puny twigs in a cardboard cup dished up as food. Emma had the fish pie and reported it full of fish and delicious.

Breakfast the following morning seemed a little better than before but it might have been appetite.

Overall - hard to fault - I have been to higher classed hotels with far less to feel happy about. Apart from the cleanliness, general efficiency and comfort - the friendly staff makes a huge contribution.

Room Tip: Over the two night we had 4 different rooms between us 2nd floor on opposite sides night 1 and 3 flo...

Have stayed here twice now (under the previous Ramada ownership and the new Hilton owners)
chose it because of the location and proximity to the tube station (2minute walk away) and is a pleasant and clean hotel.
nothing had changed too much from our previous visit, apart from the decor, the room was basic, but clean and functional.
the only slight gripe was that on the Sunday morning we had a lie in and went for breakfast a little later than the previous day only to find a very limited choice and a distinct lack of any urgency to replenish the food available. in fact some staff appeared to be cleaning away and tidying up for lunch albeit there was still over an hour of breakfast service to go - all I can say it was a good job we had got a good deal on the B&B rate as I would have been very disappointed if I'd paid full rate for the breakfast (Just to say that we didn't starve and there was still some food available!)

The hotel is placed in a nice suburb of London and a very safe area to wander around in. There are restaurants and shops nearby and it's only a few minutes walk along a main road to the tube station. Ealing is in zone 3 of the underground so it is a little more expensive to travel in and out of London.
The hotel bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere and there is free wi-fi in this area although it is expensive to use in your room. The breakfast was £15.50 per person so we gave that a miss.
The hotel room was very reasonably priced however so at least you have the option for breakfast if you want it. The staff were very nice also.
Our room was a good size, a bit worn out but they are re-furbishing all the rooms as it has only just been taken over by the 'Hilton' and will then be very nice. The room had good air-conditioning and heating.
The road noise could be a problem as a busy main road is just outside so a room at the back would be a good idea. We stayed on the third floor at the front and were woken by sirens during the night.
I would like to stay there again so would recommend it.

Room Tip: A room at the back of the hotel would be quieter.

stayed here for 4 nights over the Jubilee Weekend, brilliant location 2 min walk from Ealing Common tube station, hotel is fine nothing special its in the middle of changing hands over to a Hilton hotel. Rooms are clean but dated i think once the hotel has been refurbished it will be a great hotel to stay at. Staff were friendly also.

This is a very good value hotel. we stayed here for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations and we found it very handy because the tube station is just a 2 minute walk. The breakfast was good, with friendly staff. The rooms were quite gloomy as the were decorated in dark colours. The bathroom was small but clean, Can't grumble as it was £174 for 2 nights B & B for 2 people!

The hotel was OK if you are not planning to spend your day there. The room was nice, ideal for visiting London as a tourist. The tube was 2-3 mins walk. Many shops around so if you need something you are ok. There is also a bus line, during the night that can get you to Ealing, so if you stay awake until 4 or 5am in central London its fine! No clues for breakfast cause we never tried it. Since the price was very cheap (offer) and our friends lived at Ealing, for us it was perfect!
