It appears the hotel was recently redecorated. The lobby is nice and the front desk staff helpful. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from a tube station which is on the Piccadilly and the District lines. There is also a small grocery store next to the tube station. We did not have a car, but the hotel has parking. The rooms in this hotel are a decent size, but the bathrooms are very small. Also all regular rooms have a shower. I asked about a bath but was told I would need to upgrade to a junior suite at a rate almost 40% more, so I declined. The breakfast buffet was nice. It had a variety of hot items, juices, cereals, breads, and fruits. There was even a machine to make your own pancakes. This is a non smoking hotel. There were several tour groups at the hotel while we were there.

We have been there for 3 nights, the hotel is great and very well situated.

You can reach center of london in 20mins in the tube, from ealing commin which is just next to the hotel.

The staff is very friendly and courteous.

Highly recommended

This is my 2nd visit to the Doubletree Ealing. It is conveniently located near the Ealing Common underground so it's a short ride to Chiswick Park. The hotel staff could not be nicer. There was a mixup with my reservation date and they were very accommodating. Rooms are a bit small but since I was not in there except to sleep it is sufficient. Hotel well kept and very clean. Restaurant offers a nice selection and has a bar. I included the breakfast in my reservation and it is not just a buffet. They will make fried or poached eggs if you rather have that instead of the standard scrambled. My only complaint if I had one is that they now charge 5 pound a day for internet service in your room. This was a change from my last visit. If you are in the lobby there is no charge. I look forward to my next visit.

Dear swimmom04,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review after your most recent stay with us.

I am delighted to read that you enjoyed most aspects of your stay and that the staff managed to overcome the initial reservation mix up.

We have changed our Wi-Fi pricing by reducing the price to £5 for 24 hours. It should not have been free on your first visit but we obviously let you slip through the 'net' that time.

We look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future.

Many thanks

The hotel is conveniently located near Ealing Common station and off Hanger lane, so access to the hotel is great and easy to get around London from there. The rooms are very neat. Compact but practically designed with a good quality finish. Service is good and personnel is very friendly. Dinner choices and quality of the food are very good and the quality and choices for breakfast are excellent. Will be happy to return.

This hotel is great, mainly because of all the excellent staff particularly Eva Lopez who helped us out of a very difficult situation with kindness and charm. The rooms are very clean and beautifully looked after although rather small if you are staying more than 1 night. We hope to return to London soon (we are from Melbourne) and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you so much for another great stay.
