“Good Location - What you would expect from a doubletree”

The location of the hotel is very convenient - short walk to three different tube stations and right in front of Hyde Park. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean although a little small. The breakfast area is quite nice with some outdoor seating. The nespresso coffee machines in the room were much appreciated.

Great service after arriving very early with no luggage (it had been delayed). Large comfortable king size bedded room with band new bathroom with powerful shower with lots of hot water and Crabtree toiletries. Very comfortable bed and best hotel pillows ever. Beautiful linen . Hotel concierges were professional and very helpful with everything- they dealt with airline re our lost luggage which arrived late at night, and with suggestions about restaurants and getting around.We felt very pampered by them making reservations, and hailing cabs. Everything about hotel far exceeded my expectations given the reasonable price for London. Make sure to join hilton rewards before you go, and you can get free wifi that really works, for your entire stay.Also, book through hotel for best prices and discounts. .The only disappointment was the restaurant which was beautiful, but the food was poor. Soup was tasteless mush, and salad was swimming in oil. Hope they can improve because location is great. And, hotel is really close to 2 tube stops, a few feet from bus, and close to bike rentals..we travelled on bike paths all the way to Westminster.

Room Tip: Ask for room at the back M level. Quiet, and no wait for lift

We stayed in this hotel for five nights last week and we had very positive experience. We particularly appreciate free Wi Fi access in rooms. It is very clean and well managed. All staff members very very pleasant . I would certainly recommend this hotel for any one visiting London.

6 of us from New Zealand stayed at this hotel for 5 nights whilst in London on our return from a cruise in the Med. From the moment we arrived to be warmly greeted with hot chocolate chip cookies to when we left we were met with friendly helpful staff.
The rooms were all lovely and the toiletries were Crabtree and Evelyn. The hotel is close to 3 tube stations, Bayswater, Queensway and Notting Hill Gate and we even walked through Kensigton Park and down Bayswater Rd to Oxford Street so the location is ideal for any traveller to London.
There were a number of typical old English hotels to frequent for beverages and meals so we did not utilise the hotels own restaurant at all.
To summarise this hotel is highly recommended and when we are in London next we will definitely try and stay at this hotel RThe rates they charge are fair.
Only one problem we had was that we were dropped off at the wrong Hilton which is approx half a mile up Bayswater Rd but that was not a problem as we dragged our bags to the correct one.

Hilton sincerely has the best customer service wherever you are in the world! I've always felt that staff goes above and beyond to make you happy, they were SO accommodating... An hour early check in meant the world to us as very exhausted travelers (which is of course not always available) and it couldn't have meant more to us! Acommodations were spacious, clean, and beautiful! The only downside was the food at the attached hotel was quite bad, a hotel of this caliber should have better food to offer guests! Hotel location is great close to the Embassys and lots of little shops and restaurants!

The hotel is a great modern, clean and comfortable place to stay. We had a lovely welcome with some warm cookies. We were very happy with our room, and fit the bill perfectly.

Location is great as just about 100m from the tube, which we used to zip around on.

Big let down on this hotel is the restaurant staff, they were very rude and unwelcoming to the point we felt uncomfortable eating our breakfast there and decided to leave early.

Room Tip: Don't eat in the restaurant

We stayed for about 10 days here. The rooms are, not surprisingly, small. They are quite clean. The lobby is a awkward layout, but the staff is by and large quite helpful. WiFi was great. We had a room on the back of the building to have it quiet. It was very quiet. Despite what they may try to tell you the upper levels on the street side are NOT quiet.

The location is great for catching a bus, the tube, or a taxi. We picked this location in part because it was reasonably close to a Whole Foods market on Kensington High Street. We would walk there in about 12 minutes. No complaints with our room. One of the elevators had an alarm set off for several days and lights were flickering that never was attended to while we were there. We just used the other elevator. Needs to be addressed.

The hotel entrance faces the side street (Saint Petersburgh Place). The Bayswater Road side is their outdoor cafe. Tricky to find if you aren't aware of this.

One thing more. There is one 115 volt outlet in the bathroom. But it's only suitable for very low wattage (shaver etc).

We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Insist on a room that faces the back of the building if having it quiet is important to you. That me...
