We stayed for four days. The location is wonderful with views from our bedroom of BigBen and Houses of Parliament. Westminster underground station is a 3 minute walk. Hop on/off Tour buses stop in front of hotel
Staff were without exception very kind and helpful.
Breakfast was very nice with a good choice in restaurant with (again) view of Big Ben and the London Eye.
Room was very spacious with good airco and nice bathroom.
Great stay, would love to return again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night shortly before christmas. Arriving at the hotel is the first great experience. Checking in was no problem and the staff was nice and helpful even though we arrived very early.
As buildings are in London, nothing is as smooth and slick as it is in new buildings. This hotel has charme. No huge entry area, the check in desk in a small room on the side and nice, old elevators.
The room itself was big, especially for London. The best thing was, we had a direct view over the Thames towards Big Ben. This was amazing!
The staff made our stay special as they where all friendly and helpful.

Located on the south bank of the Thames directly opposite Westminster Palace - we chose this hotel for our last 3 nights in London after a recent holiday. I stayed with my two adult sons in a 5th floor room with a wonderful view - the sunsets were amazing. Reception was helpful and pleasant. We did seem to walk a bit to the lift, but that didn't matter. The room was quiet, the bathroom was roomy, the beds were very comfortable, although we had asked for an extra bed (if available) which didn't eventuate, but no matter. My sons loved the room service which we enjoyed one evening. It is so close to everything - we would definitely stay there again for a few nights.

Room Tip: You must have 'a room with a view'

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right by Embankment, next to the walking bridge which takes you over the Thames (gives you a fab view of Big Ben!) and to Trafalgar Square/Big Ben. The area also seems quite secure and if you are staying on your own, it feels safe. There is a Starbucks right outside the hotel (the back entrance) and several good restaurants around. If you want something more upmarket, just cross the bridge and you are in Theatre land/Covent garden in no time with lot's more choices.

The rooms are ok. Try to get a room with a view of the river, if not you will be facing a rather boring court yard which reminds you of a Dickens novel. Not nice to wake up to.

Didn't eat at the hotel but ordered room service which was prompt (only took 15 minutes) and very tasty.

The layout of the hotel is confusing with long corridors and endless walking to get to your room. No real lounge area and a rather boring reception. But all very clean/tidy yet a bit ¨old school¨ with wood paneling and large flower arrangements.

The service is very good. An extra plus for the concierge who took great care in ordering a taxi for a very early Sunday morning flight.

Overall, a good place to stay if you are only in London for a few days or travelling on your own. Not the most exciting hotel but a comfortable option. And finally...the beds. The beds ( at most Marriotts) are amazing! Simply, as the slogan says, heavenly.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a river view.
