Good start point for a big bike ride into London and good place to meet up with others as a central location outside of the city. Plenty of room to do what you want and such a huge park. Could (and probably will) spend a lot more time here.

This is our first visit to family living here and we loved it! So fun to walk the streets and see all the beautiful houses. The village is so quaint and feels like something right out of a movie. We enjoyed watching the families play in Blackheath Park as well as all there is to see and do in Greenwich Park like the Observatory and Cutty Sark. Too much to see in the week we had and we can't wait to return.

A perfect place for an evening out, close to Greenwich park, so you can take a walk after a nice mile in one of the cosy restaurants or pubs.

I stumbled across Blackheath, coming through on business. Having been born and raised in the south coast of England, with the wide open spaces covered in grass, the little churches dotted around, the little houses not overcome by high rise buildings.
I came back to the very next day when I had more time, beautiful area, a treasure only 15 minutes away from the City of London; it's worth a visit if you can't actually get away from the city just to get that sense of openness and what the countryside brings, With being so close I will very likely make my next move to Blackheath, the countryside within commuting distance and sight of London.

Was recommended to try for my wife's birthday and was not disappointed at all. The food was excellent and I could not believe how busy it was for a Monday evening. Vaz and the staff really made us feel welcome and we cannot wait to return. Many thanks Nina & Alan
