Stayed here two nights while on holiday tour. The room was very small. My wife and I had to announce our movement plans to avoid collisions. If you were drunk you would not have to worry about falling off the toilet, since one barely had room to turn around. If one did manage to maneuver, the tube of paper more likely than not ended up on the floor. Otherwise, a decent location with a friendly doorman.

Dear geezed50

Thank you for your recent stay at Kensington Close hotel!

I have to agree the location of the hotel is excellent and I am glad to hear our Concierge team made an impression! For more comfort in regards the size of the room, I would recommend our Executive rooms which also come with other great amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi!

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback as with such communication we ensure going forward.

With an excellent location, less than five minutes from Kensington High Street underground station and near Kensington Palace, Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall and other attractions, this is a great base to explore from. The hotel is comfortable and staff are courteous.

Was extremely disappointing with this hotel. As the bed was such a let down. I booked for a double bed instead we got two twin beds pushed together. So all night i was falling towards the middle in between two beds! Did not get a chance to complain about it as by the time we got in it was early in the morning. Having to go to reception and the thought of having to move rooms was too much of a hassle. Did not really think that such a nice luxury hotel would have such a bad organisation of bed arrangements! It would've been a really good stay had it not been for the bed as the hotel was nice and clean and the overall hotel was lovely. So overall we did not have such a great nights sleep and i think that should be a hotels main priority and for that i would not stay again specially with what i paid for.

Very large, very busy , lots of flight stewards were staying there all the time. No free wifi, they charge £ 10 per day per unit ( phone, laptop etc) to use wifi. This was very disappointing as I have never been charged for wifi anywhere else I have ever stayed, so did not even consider asking this when booking, or I would not have stayed there. The staff were helpful at the front of house, receptionist not quite so friendly. The room was clean, huge king size bed but not much room for anything else.

Dear theDteam

Thank you for your recent stay at Kensington Close hotel!

The charge for the Wi-Fi is to accommodate the property’s requirement; however I will pass on your comments to the right department! Our Executive rooms do come with complimentary Wi-Fi as well as more comfort as they are larger in size.

I am glad to read that the hard work of our Housekeeping Team did not go unnoticed and that the rest of the staff was helpful!

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback with such dialogue we ensure going forward!

We went on cosmos your and ended up with a twin room instead of double and couldn't swing a cat in it. Asked to get a double and they obliged us with a better room
On 1st floor. Breakfast was good. Staff are nice. But can you believe no internet unless you want to pay 10 pound per device.

My partner and I decided that we where going to do a last minute booking, we chose this hotel as it had good reviews and in the location we where after, we booked through Agoda (100% recommend) we got the superior double room for only £100.30! I looked in the lobby when checking out and its about £237!
The hotel was lovely and clean! the reception staff where nice a polite.
The room was nice, could do with a lager wardrobe but apart from that ticketed all the boxes.

This hotel was part of a tour package. We spent an extra night. The extra night was $224. The room was the smallest of the hotels that we stayed. It is within walking distance of the Kensington Close High Street Tube Stop. Right next to the station is a Marks and Spencers shop. They do have a grill which will be the cheapest food that you will find in London. The room was clean but the tub was unusually high.

Dear ponchatoula

Thank you for your recent stay at Kensington Close hotel!

I have to agree that the area is fantastic! Especially when the Tube station is less than 5 minute walk from the hotel!

Our rooms are competitive in the size with central London and I am glad to read you noticed Housekeeping’s hard work as they do work hard to keep up with the high standards!

We hope to see you again!
