“Basic Premier Inn - nothing special but would certainly stay again”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2012

The hotel feels like it is in a converted 60s office building rather than purpose - built. 3 minutes walk from Belsize Park tube which is a couple of stops from Camden Town. Those few stops from central London mean you are more likely to get much better rates. Very safe area to walk round in (for inner north London). Plenty of convenience shops and small restaurants nearby. Room at the end of building near lift - not noisy but noticeably snaller than others in same hotel. Fine for one person for 1 or 2 nights though. Standard checkin at 2pm. Early checkin normally costs but they let me have room for free arriving 1pm - staff helpful.

Room Tip: This room at the side end of the building was smaller than others stayed in

Stayed here for a weekend break in the capital. Great location, 4 stops on the Northern Line from St Pancras and then a few minute walk. Has own restaurant and bar, but is surrounded by good places to eat and drink.
Room very clean and well maintained, albeit beds slightly hard.
Freeview tv and good size rooms.
Wold higly recommend for the price.

Room Tip: Great location and good size rooms for somewhere so closer to town.

Stayed here for two nights. Bed really comfortable, staff friendly and helpful and a great location. Breakfast great value for money if you have children with you. Loved Hampstead and the surrounding area.

We just stayed here for about 7 nights in late Mar/early Apr. It was a great budget hotel. I wouldn't hesistate to book with Premier Inn again. We loved the Hampstead Heath neighborhood and would trek back here for dinner every night. The hotel was a quick walk to the tube with a couple coffee shops on the way. We did have the all you can eat breakfast a couple of times. It is a little pricy at about $25 for a couple after the conversion, but on those days we had a late start and didn't eat again until dinner, so it was really a cost savings for us. Everything was clean and any minor issues we had were promptly taken care of. We even used the "good night guarantee" which means you get a free night if something goes wrong. The A/C went out, so they 1. offered to refund the night and 2. move us to another location within the chain. We passed on moving b/c we already liked the neighborhood so much, but did utilize the free night and they gave us a fan.
Overall, a great stay and if you're looking to extend your travel $, don't hesistate to book with a Premier Inn. I spent hours reading reviews and was nervous that it wouldn't meet my expectations. Well, they didn't, they exceeded it for a this class of hotel.

A good clean hotel with very friendly staff, close to underground system (5 minutes walk away) so its easy to get into London, it takes about 20 minutes with no changes on the Northern Line.
Good varied menu with good quality food at a competitive price.
There is a secure car park but in my view its expensive at £14.00 per day.
None the less I would use it again and I recommend it to anyone wishing a good quality budget hotel close to the capital.

We lived in Hampstead for 25 years and this is the best and closest hotel in the vicinity. We pretty much always stay here when we come back through London and it makes us feel like we're coming home. If you're working downtown and don't mind the tube I would say it's worth saving yourself 150 a night and being close to restaurants, bars and the Heath.

The hotel itself is good, basic and clean, exactly what you would expect for the price. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is good - look out for the breakfast lady, she's very attentive.

Room Tip: higher the better.
