We were glad the chain had a hotel in Hampstead as it is an area we are fond,of. Within a few minutes walk there is Belsize Park tube station so the West End is only a short journey away on the Northern Line. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. It has it's own car park.

Service at this Hotel was first class, efficient, caring and helpful, in fact, all you could ask for. It is a good location, the room was clean and tidy, a bit on the small size but everything worked OK. Breakfast was first class plenty of choice, all freshly prepared, hot where it needed to be and tasty. A very good price for a Hotel breakfast as well. One complaint, what appeared to be a fire alarm went off, no explanation, no fire drill but the lifts were stopped and did not come on again within an hour, again no explanation. Walking up to the fourth floor when I had a hospital appointment across the road nerxt day was not fun.

As we have come to expect from a Premier Inn, great value for money in a location that is perfect if you want to be out of the rush of central London.Just a few minutes walk to Belsize Park tube station and the Northern Line makes it so easy to get around - especially good as we came in from Waterloo so no changes required. Very friendly staff, a great value breakfast, spacious, clean rooms and amazingly comfortable beds. Only down side was the view from the window as we overlooked the petrol station and car wash! Perhaps if we had asked we could have swapped rooms, but not really a problem as we didn't stay there for the views! Would definitely stay there again but next time around would ask for a room overlooking the rear of the hotel. Many places to eat, drink and shop just a short stroll away, and an easy walk to Hampstead Heath and the brilliant views over London.

Went to London for three days with the family. To keep costs down decided to stay in a premier Inn. Chose more for location to a tube stop as opposed to the type of hotel. The hotel is situated within a mins walk from Belsize Park tube station and then 10 mins on the northern line if that to central London. Outside the hotel the area is really nice. There are a number of restaurants within yards of the hotel. From Pizza express to Gourmet Burger and for the kids KFC. You also feel very safe in the area as well. The hotel itself is what you expect from a premier Inn. Its clean and tidy and the rooms are all that you need. The staff were very friendly and the in house restaurant was a great place to wind down after a day sightseeing. Would def stay here again. Good value and excellent location.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the back of the hotel so you are away from the main road.

I stayed in this Hotel last week, for two nights. As my husband was admitted to The Royal Free Hospital,I found this Premier Inn an ideal place to stay.My room was clean and comfortable.I thought it was a bit small, and a bit expensive at £156.50p a night. But if you were in the situation,I was in,I suppose I had no choice. The room was very quiet,as I was at the side, but I dont know what the rooms at the front was like,as it was on quite a busy road.I thought the coffee and sugar they provide was a bit mean,Two sugars and Two coffees,OK if you wanted anymore, you could go to reception, but who wants to keep going asking for more. Also,I would like to know, why you have to have ID,if you want to pay by cash.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the side or back,as they are quieter.

Stopped here as visiting the Royal Free/UCL medical school. Clean twin room and a very good breakfast. The staff were very helpful both on reception, housekeeping and in the restaurant and as I was with an elderly Aunt it was good to know no one would rush her or be abrupt with her. Parking was £14.00 for 24 hrs and there was plenty of room but parking nearby is limited and is a maximum 2 hr at 20p for 7.5minutes. (Oct 13). We had a twin room which was ample for 2 nights. The hotel is within walking distance of the Royal Free (probably 250 yards) but there is a hill to go down ( and come up) if going to the UCL entrance. Though you may walk a distance once inside the hospital. There are some nice shops/cafe nearby and also a petrol station. You are not that far from the big town centre. (Walking distance if fit and healthy). You are also very close to Belsize underground station.. Having stopped at other premier inns I have to say this was the best, very clean and maintained at a high standard and again the staff were great.

Room Tip: We were in odd numbered room on the 5th floor which was overlooking the carp ark and away from the m...

Premier Inn Hampstead is without doubt a brilliant hotel. I would say it's particularly good for short stays or a side stop for a long journey. It is also near Belsize Park Tube station, which is a big advantage of staying there. The staff is also very friendly, and in the room itself the beds are really comfortable and you also have a kettle and teacups so you can have a cup of tea/coffee if you fancy one. There is also a bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower and bathtub, and right in front of the beds there is a smallish T.V. The breakfasts they serve are always so delicious, and I heard you can also eat dinner in the restaurant too.
