Although I haven't really stayed in the hotel, but only attended a conference that was held there during a couple of days, I had a great experience. Staff was very nice and friendly. They also turned out to be incredibly helpful when I lost my bag during the conference. As it was quite difficult to locate it immediately, I left my contact and received a call in a few days that my belongings were found in the hotel restaurant. The fact that what I had lost wasn't very valuable makes me appreciate their dedication even more.

We took three rooms at this hotel for a very special occasion - an investiture at Windsor Castle. From the moment I contacted the hotel their staff bent over backwards to help, advise and support our efforts to make the stay really special

From check-in to check-out they put a huge amount of effort into our stay, and nothing was too much trouble for them - including arranging transport to Windsor, and a complimentary bottle of champagne on our return! Every person who we spoke to seemed to know of the award and congratulate me!

The rooms are very comfortable and being on the 12th floor the view across the London Skyline and Hyde park was breathtaking. Food was of excellent quality and with lots of options available. But the best asset this hotel has (even above the excellent position and facilities) are the staff - London hotels can be very impersonal with false smiles and impersonal service, but this hotel shows how it should be done - top job and cannot thank you enough!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking Hyde park on the upper floors would I suspect be best.

One of the best things about this hotel is the location - a short walk to Oxford Street and Paddington station, also very close to the tube station. The rooms are comfortable with superking size beds and perfectly kitted out for a business stay, but they are small so probably less suited to a leisure break.

The staff were very courteous and helpful throughout. The breakfast was fairly good, lots of options and breakfast room has a lovely view over Hyde Park, overall a nice hotel with no real faults but nothing that really steps it over the mark, not really blown away by anything either!

Excellent hotel, ideally placed by Lancaster Gate Station. Clean tidy and friendly, the staff were always helpful and pleasant. A bit pricy, but unfortunately that what you have to expect in Central London.

Room Tip: Rooms with views over Hyde Park are probably preferable

Always a pleasure staying at the Lancaster. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was clean and in good order. Although the hotel was very busy, we where never disturbed by the other guests and had a very peaceful nights sleep in the comfortable bed. We had breakfast in the Island Grill restaurant, offers a good choice and anything is cooked fresh for you.
The location of this hotel is excellent. Great advantage of having it's own car park, just left the car there and used the underground. Lancaster Gate station underneath, so super convenient for getting around. Will certainly be using this hotel again.

I really can't fault this stay - from start to finish.

On arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming - I got a fantastic room on the 13th floor with an amazing view of the London skyline, spacious, with good amenities (including ironing facilities!), and (most importantly) a comfortable bed. I particularly appreciated the option of having fresh milk with the tea and coffee, which arrived within 5 mins of my call.

The breakfast options are also another plus. Hotels, and London hotels in particular, often ask ridiculous prices for their breakfast, which, if all you fancy is a coffee and croissant, is a rip off. This hotel though has a "grab and go" option, of aforementioned coffee and pastry, for a very reasonable price. This was great!

The only caveat is that the hotel is not particularly central, however, as it is right around the corner from a tube station, this isn't really a problem. Also, the sound insulation in the hotel was good, which cannot always be said about London hotels!

Finally, the staff were really helpful with questions about best way to get to which shop, and gave us a pleasant send-off. All in all, a really good experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
