Being in London for the last two nights during our honeymoon trip period, we chose this hotel to stay. Although we have been a bit late for check-in, the reception staff was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. As I have contacted the hotel to request whether it is possible to have some special arrangement for honeymooners, when we opened the door of our guest room, it was so nice!! (Having lovely pink balloon and rose flower petals decoration to welcome us and a champagne for us)
We haven't got the chance to get a park-view room, but our room was also with nice view (we could see the skyline of London with some famous landmark, such as part of London eye, BT tower)
Facilities in the room were perfect, everything was just right there for guests to use.
More importantly, the breakfast was "very very delicious", even having delicious congee!! We had a quite full breakfast everyday to have quite enough energy before starting our city walk.
Overall, this is definitely recommended hotel for travelers. We believe that we would be there again in the future.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Wonderful Hyde Park location. Staff went out of their way to accomodate requests, no request was too small. General Manager visible and approachable to staff and guests.

The staff at the Lancaster London were all very helpful and friendly. In addition to their normal friendly service, they provided great assistance when I had a problem with the room safe and also with forwarding an item that I left behind in my room.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in July. Extremely close to the tube station and about a 5 minute walk to Paddington station. Check in was painless and room spacious and clean. Complimentary biscuits, a kettle and a fridge to store your drinks. We also got 2 hours free wifi per day. Awesome. The view was towards the park, excellent.
Bathroom was well equipped, the shower working nicely and the bed very comfortable.
Experienced no issues at check out and we were allowed to store our bags there while we went shopping.
I cannot fault this hotel in any way. It's extremely modern, classy and the staff very nice!
Would definitely stay again.

We chose the hotel as it was close to Hyde Park as we at tented the summer convert there. After the concert we went for a drink in the bar, it was around 1020pm on saturday night. The barman advised that they would not make ant cocktails until they had served everyone in the que; the que was about 20 people deep. When we requested some food from the menu the barman said they were not providing any snacks, even though the customer before me was served food! This service sea extremely poor and not worth of a 4 star rating. The reception staff and concierge were very helpful.

Your feedback is extremely concerning and very disappointing indeed. On this occasion, we can offer no excuse of our staff’s behaviour you experienced, but do want to assure you that your concerns have been taken very serious and that the appropriate members of our team are being addressed. We will also be adding some extra quality audits and training in order to avoid such circumstances in the future. We were not expecting the volume of guests on the evening, yet this by no means is reason for service standards to drop.
We hope you will give the Lancaster London one more chance to redeem itself and experience the true hospitably we are known for internationally.
