The Lancaster is in a great location to explore London, the staff are friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and the food is of a high standard. We had a fantastic stay, ten out of ten.

It was hard enough trying to book a hotel for 2 adults and 3 children, but once we found out about Lancaster we didn't search any further - it was effortless from start to finish. Fab hotel & service that made you feel at home from the moment we checked in. The kids (ages 8,6 & 4) were on the Paddington Bear package so loved that (free toy, frizbee and sweets!) Ideal location opposite the park / gardens and tube station next door. We ate at Pizza Express one night and Zizzi's the other - although the hotel menu looked good we had pre-booked these already. Breakfast was a buffet but with everything you would want (apart from Nutella!!!!) Will definitely be back.

We spent a weekend at the Lancaster London and would have no hesitation in staying their again next time we stay in London. Good location, great views over the park and the city, very friendly/helpful staff and a great Thai restaurant (Nipa).

In first looking at the Lancaster Hotel, it doesn't look that impressive. Wait until you get inside. The staff are great, the concierge was fabulous and the restaurants in the hotel room were fabulous. We spent a week there and despite breakfast being served buffet style (which I don't care for) the food was great. Our room was a little small, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If you plan to visit London in the winter time, make sure you bring long underwear, a raincoat and a good pair of waterproof boots.
Every place we went in London the staff in the stores were great. They were all very friendly and they went out of their way to help you, even if you didn't get anything from their stores. The sightseeing buses were great and work the price. They go into great detail about where you are in London as well as providing you with a bit of history of the area that they are passing through.
Nothing else to add except do a day trip out of London to one of the many small towns there are. We did and it was fabulous. We had trout for lunch and I sat in the pub sipping on tea and watching the bus tour group walk around in the rain, looking at the ducks.
The next time we go to London it will be during the summer time and we will rent a car and tour the countryside. London and the UK is a beautiful place and everybody should visit it at least once, whether it is summer, fall, winter or spring.

We spent 2 days @ this hotel and found it to pretty average. The location is fairly good, relatively close to the city and close to Paddington where there are some good pubs and restaurants.
On arrival the front desk staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly, the concierge was also very helpful, however we had a few issues with the air conditioning and the rest of the staff really let the hotel down, care factor was nil!
After numerous phone calls this matter was rectified by management, however the damage was already done. Guys you really need to take a serious look at your customer service.

I've just stayed at the Lancaster London hotel for the weekend and was blown away by the wonderful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Great location with amazing views over London. Only place to stay in London.
