We were quite worried arriving at this hotel. It certainly looked like a 2 star...
Arrived just after 1430, polite staff checking in, and straight to our room, although some other people had to wait for their room.
The hotel really does need a complete makeover!, very dated and tired.
Our room was OK. Again very dated and the double bed was a small double. We had room 318, and found it fine.
Breakfast was ok too. Plenty of choice.
The bar prices were cheaper than a lot of pubs we went to, and the staff were polite.
Couldn't of asked for a better location for the price we paid.
Would stay again.

Room Tip: We had room 318 and sounds like it was better than some of the others

My wife booked this hotel with a meal and complementary bottle of wine she paid in advance, the food was kept warm on the bain-marie for what looked like it had been their an age, even the rice had shrunk from the side of the catering tin.
The manager or assistant manager offered us any meal we wanted for free but we refused this judging by the so called buffet standard.
However my wife asked for the wine which she was given she put it in our room so we could have it when we got back latter in the eve.
We returned to find that the wine was gone, she complained to reception who eventually replaced it. She drafted a letter to the manager who didn't want to reimburse her but offered to give us another night in this hotel which we declined. But we are prepared to stay at an alternative hotel or our money back. I emailed the CEO and his assistant but nobody from this group seem to give a toss. We stayed in January & this is still ongoing.

Having read some terrible reviews, we were a little worried about staying here but had already booked with Superbreak. This is a 2 star hotel and appearance on the outside was in keeping with this. Staff were fine. We were in the basement (floor -1) and I can honestly say that apart from no window, the room was spacious, comfortable and most importantly clean. As stated earlier, we had read reviews and so inspected the bathroom but nothing untoward. My double bed very comfortable, the twin bed a little squeaky. Breakfast was fine, parallel to some 3 and 4 star hotels I have stayed in and yes, there are chips included but they looked very nice :) Bear in mind this is not a 4 star hotel so if you want luxury then this is not it but a thoroughly decent stopover - thank you!

Stayed in this hotel 13/04 to 14/04, just one night.

- Upon check in, room was not ready although it was 14:25h we had to wait until 14:40
- Employees cleaning the room just said 'Not ready, go to bar'
- Room was very outdated
- Toilet did not flush
- Stains in carpet
- Apparently rooms are booked without breakfast
- Upon arrival you have the 'chance' to pay €10,00 for breakfast, a bit disproportional, this is not a 4* (or more) hotel

We arrived by car from Belgium and particularly chose this hotel because it was advertised (on ebookers.com) with a 'Free Parking' service.

- Upon checkout the very, very rude front office girl asked us to pay for the 'free parking'
- We denied, and her attitude became even worse, even accusing us for not having paid for the room at all (even though we had a prepaid booking).

I would not choose this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: - Room 213, toilet does not flush (april 2014) - Bring your own hairdryer (theirs is poor / doesn't work) - Check parking regulations / fees upon arrival, don't want to be surprised afterwards
