“Not worth the effort to get there”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

We had been recommended by friends to enjoy this restaurant near Marble Arch. Unfortunately it was not as reasonable or delicious as they had raved. It was a Sunday evening about 7 pm when we arrived for a nice dinner. Since it was Sunday roast day we chose the roast option, which although a bit pricey looked like a nice alternative to pub food. We were disappointed with the roast beef dinner. The beef appeared to have been sliced earlier and kept warm, as it had a dried out appearance even though it was medium rare... no juice. The potatoes were beautiful looking but rock hard. The only saving grace was a well prepared Yorkshire pudding.
Service was not great and we were surprised to see a 12.5% service charge added to the bill. Upon close inspection of the menu, it did say that a "discretionary service charge" would be added. We paid the bill, but felt taken advantage of. It certainly did not come close to our friends' experience.

Many thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the service was not up to standard when you visited us. We are usually proud of our Sunday Roast but on this occasion we are sorry to hear of your disappointment. We have taken your comments onboard and it has been addressed with the kitchen and the management team.
We hope to welcome you again soon.

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

Our first day in London at the end of an extended Ireland/Scotland trip. Met friends who live here. What a great place. When you walk up, many patrons are standing around outside drinking and chatting. The first floor is very pub-like. Loud and energetic. Our table was on the second floor in a back corner. It was perfect! Quiet little space where we could talk without shouting. Everything on the menu looked delicious. At our friend's recommendation we bit order the pork chop. It was beautiful and equally delicious. Our server was most delightful. As we walked through the restaurant on the second floor and the pub on the first floor, both were full of any happy people. We highly recommend The Grazing Goat.

“Continues to be a success”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

Have eaten here before for breakfast, lunch & dinner so no surprise that the GG continues to be one of the most enjoyable restaurants in London. A casual sparky atmosphere belies the excellent quality of the food and the way it is prepared and presented. Dinner here was both fun and a memorable experience although do be prepared for an excitable crowd as it seems to attract a young and enthusiastic customer base. The menu is wide enough to satisfy just about everyone and each of my guests felt their choice was the best. For me, the fish (bream) was excellent on the night but one of my guests was just as delighted with a simple hamburger and excellent chips. Desserts were sufficiently exotic to be entertaining as a well as delightfully presented. Not really suitable for children for dinner as it is very "Buzzy" .
