We had a lovely dinner with friends who were regulars. The service and ambience was just wonderful even though the restaurant was only 50% full. The antipasti was very good and my octopus starter and lobster spaghetti were excellent. one of our party had a massive crumbed veal chop which was to die for. There was a decent selection of desserts and we tried them all.
The wine list was very extensive, very good and mainly high-end, with hardly any at the budget end,

Service excellent, food good, excellent atmosphere and in all enjoyable experience. Restaurant was not full due to early meal time 6pm. Beware of the cost though, 2 people 3 course meal (I had coffee for dessert) , no wine, just one glass of champagne as an aperitif came out at £136. Service 12.5% discretionary but was added to the bill......I never pay more than 10% unless service is exceptional. Would I go again, yes but have asked my boss for a pay rise!

Food was excellent. We paid £65.00 for a four course meal. There was a good choice, and all courses were excellent.

When we got there just before 10.00pm, the restaurant was very busy, with virtually every table taken. This seemed to affect the service, which was slow at first, however within 1/2 an hour quite a few tables left, which gave the staff a bit more breathing space and the service improved greatly.

12.5% service charge was added to the bill. Our bill was £174.00, without the service charge. There was only two of us and would have rather have decided myself what was acceptable, particularly as the initial service at the table was poor.

Extensive wine list. We had a bottle of sparkling wine, which was excellent.

We would go back the this restaurant.

We went to Cassis on Sunday evening for dinner. The service was excellent, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food wise, the starter we had, Octopus, was very bland. Main courses were good, not amazing. Dessert, chocolate and ricotta cheese soufflé was alright, a bit disappointing, not sweet enough. Atmosphere was lovely, nice music, great decor, very romantic and intimate.
