“A convenient place to stay”
Reviewed 19 November 2013

We stayed for two nights over the week end,yes the room we stayed in (409) was fairly compact but was not claustrophobic, and had sufficient room to move about, and was not affected by traffic noise and we had two good nights sleep. The wardrobe space and drawers are somewhat lacking. The air conditioning in the room was excellent and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotlessly clean, there are tea making facilities and a room safe. The walk in shower provided a plentiful supply of hot water at a good pressure, and although quite small was sufficient for our needs. The breakfasts we had were excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, continental and a choice of cooked breakfast, although on the Sunday, breakfast was buffet style which was again very good. The hotel is splendidly located, close to Euston and wittin an easy walk of the theatres. The staff were very courteous and helpful and check in was quick and efficient and we would certainly stay here again

I have stayed in London many times and always prefer to stay around the Euston area as i don't want to be travelling across London on the tube with luggage.
I booked this hotel as a last minute overnight stay.
After looking through the tripadvisor reviews i sort of knew what to expect!
The reception desk couldn't have been more helpful when we arrived (even though our room wasn't ready but we where 4hrs before our check in time)
I registered left our bags and went off sight seeing with my Son.
We got back to the hotel about 5.30 collected our bags and went up to our room.
The room as expected wasn't the largest but there was more than enough space for the two of us.

The only two downsides are; the wardrobe (well cupboard really) that at best you could hang a pair of pants and maybe a shirt in. Don't get me wrong i was expecting this and tbh for one night it didn't bother us.
What was more of a problem is the wet room/bathroom, the floor does get very wet and the bath mat after two showers had to be rung out and then we used one of the wet bathtowels to dry the floor.
Its just a pity that there wasnt a small step between the shower and the rest of the bathroom especially as its so small (i suppose the reason is health & safety as it would be a potential tripping hazard)

So overall i would say the hotel is in a good location and offers good value for money

Staying here now and so disappointed as stayed here before and thought rooms are ridiculously small however this time booked a superior so thought would have been bigger room!!! Ha it's exactly the same!! Seriously we have bigger cupboard at home than the ensuite!! (Wet room) this is a lesson to be learned in future will spend and extra £50 and go down the road to a bigger room!! We come to London on average 7-8 times a year and like to stay in this area but will definately stick with Hilton or holborn grange!!! Pay for what you get I suppose!! By the way only enough room in wardrobe for 1 persons clothes and that's at a push!!

Nice hotel only 5 minute walk from Euston station. Excellent sound-proofing of rooms - you can barely hear what is happening outside. I had one of the superior rooms, about 30 sq m in total including bathroom, very spacious for single traveller. Stayed on room only basis so I can't comment on the food. Free water provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities and fridge
Cupboard would be a bit small if there were two people staying more than a night or two, and shaver point was in the cupboard (!) rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable with large bed and two chairs as well as desk space. Could not get free wifi to connect but don't know if that was fault of my laptop rather than the hotel system. Cost £185 for RO.

Room Tip: Room 507 is a good size, end of the corridor

Hotel has easy access from both King's Cross and Euston train stations. Room rather small but very compact and had everything you need. Booked a twin room and rate included a continental breakfast which was very nice. Great choice. Could have paid a supplement for full English. Rooms very quiet even though ours was opposite the lift. Didn't like glass door of bathroom as when going in and switching on light the whole rooms lit up. Beds also rather hard and room small, but in London it's the norm unless you pay a lot more. Reception staff extremely helpful. Gave us magazines and newspapers free of charge to read on our return train journey. Bus stop right outside hotel so easy access to other areas.

Hotel is ok, but bathrooms are awful. Tiny little sink, can't even put a toothbrush on it. After 1 minute shower, whole bathroom flooded due to absolutely inadequate drain. Very annoying and reason not to come back ever again. Of course, location is good, close to Euston but that's the only real positive.
