“Another Good Stay”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I stayed here for one night in June for a visit to the new Foyles bookshop.
Check in was very quick and professional, I had a lovely room and an excellent breakfast the next day.
Will stay again whenever I am in London for a short stay as it is very handy and located perfectly for the shops and main London sites.

Room Tip: Try to choose a large room which I know is expensive but the cheaper ones are very small and no room...

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful with different and not daily wishes/requirements. There was a suiting bluetooth soundsystem and a good choice of tea and coffee. Good connections to buses and trains.

Room Tip: Uppest floor has a nice view.

Good comfortable hotel. Very efficient and courteous staff at reception. My hesitation over awarding 5 star rating is a combination of it being quite pricey [even on our room only booking] and the room [whilst very comfortable and clean] was "compact" including a "quite compact" bathroom.

Its location less than 5 minutes from Euston station is well placed. Bus routes outside offer good connections for many west end locations.

Room next to air conditioning plant running all night. No curtains just Venetian blinds so writing this review at 5.28am as sleep which was hard to get to sleep, will not be resumed.
All a bit hopeless at £239 for one night pretty standard (and small) room and no breakfast!
The antithesis of Arnold Schwarzenegger "I WONT be back" .............ever!
I can't believe I've spent £239 for this!

There is no doubt location is perfect (!), but rooms are unbelievable small.
It was so not comfortable to stay there with my boyfriend during 4 full days and nights.
I'm sorry for details but bathroom with toilet are almost on bed beyond the transparent glass door ((

Sure. hotels around are more expensive but if you are planning a romantic trip and you can spend a little bit more money , go to another hotel.
Photos on booking look more nice than it is in reality.

But if you are planning to walk all day and probably night it would be good choice :)

We were in room at the back of the hotel and to say it was booked as a Superior room I was really surprised by the small size and lack of items such as a fridge (not sure where you would put if it was room we were in though , This room overlooked the air con systems so we needed to keep the window shut.

The room was very small, with a wardrobe which was only 6 inches deep just held my jacket and trousers - ok for one night, they even had a fixed hair-dryer in the wardrobe again interfering with clothes storage and no drawer space at all.

The desk in the corner was only for the beverage tray so not sure where you could write at a desk if you needed to.The bed was ok with nice duvet and pillow. The bathroom was really a wet room where if you used the shower and half an hour later wanted the toilet you got wet feet, annoyingly the extraction did not seem to work and the wet room and bedroom filled with steam from the shower making the mirror unusable at times until it cleared

The staff were all very friendly and with its location only 5 minutes walk from Euston made it handy for tubes and walking to interesting areas of London.

We have just returned from a comfortable night in this hotel. Check in was quick and easy, our rooms were ready as we arrived at 2.00 and I asked for a lower floor and quiet room and that's exactly what we got. We had six rooms booked as we were on a hen party weekend and they were all allocated near each other on the same floor. Although the room was compact it was clean and had everything we needed. The air con was a real bonus as it was a very humid night and the window did not open. Breakfast was excellent and the staff could easily accommodate the twelve of us on one long table. The late check out of 12.00 am was much appreciated after a rather late alcohol filled fun night out in nearby leicester square. Would highly recommend this hotel .
