Decent hotel, nearish to shops and West End Nightlife but the name is misleading. It ain't at Oxford Circus! Bond Street tube is actually nearer. Tucked away in a side street off Wigmore street, it was a challenge to find initially. It did the job though, as we were in town for a pre-Christmas night out on Regent street and for £150 in December it was not bad value. Room was tidy, with a choice of pillows and a decent bathroom. Hotel bar was small but efficient and breakfast was pretty good too. Too much choice to stay here again but not a bad place.

The location is just perfect! It's near the shopping streets, different restaurants and the tube. The hotel is clean and hygienic, we've noticed that many 3star hotels (in the same price-range) usually have moulds or dirty floors and bathrooms, so we were quite happy with our clean room. The staff was very helpful, we had to wait a few hours before we could check in (which was very frustrating at first) but we received some complimentary vouchers and an upgrade. The breakfast is ok as well, again for such price-range hotels. Minor remarks - there are renovations nearby, so i can imagine that some rooms would experience noise in the early mornings; there is not much difference between a standard and a queens suite (so spare your money and book the standard room).

Stayed here as could not get in to the Bloomsbury Holiday Inn and this really is the poor relation with regard to hotel and customer service. I note reviews about good location but we only stayed one night returning from Europe as no National trains were running.
My heart sank when we got out of the taxi to see we had to drag 5 suitcases up steps as there was no ramp access. Was checked in by Helen, who explained nothing, only dealt with credit card and gave room keys, I had to ask where to go for breakfast.
The room was the furthest point away from the lift that it could be so not easy to get to with a lot of luggage. Noticed the difference in the standard of the hotel compared to Bloomsbury, it was dark and tired looking, really needs a refurb. Needed to use door key to have light in the room, which was not explained at check in. Room adequate but nothing sparkling with a view of the rear of other buildings. There was a mini bar in the room but I was not offered access at check in. Breakfast was in the basement, bacon appeared to have been cooked for quiet a while as very hard. Waited considerable time for lift as continually full, if there was more than one lift I was not told on check in. The only positive aspect was the concierge, a very pleasant young man who assisted in getting a taxi. Wouldn't stay here again, so different to the Bloomsbury Holiday Inn and was more expensive.

Stayed 2 nights here. Normally we prefere the Holiday Inn Mayfair, but did not get the room . We had a junior suite, was quite OK. Rooms and bath very clean and not too small. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. We forgot some toys there. I had to call 3 three times to get a recall. But finally there find the toys and called me back ( after 3 days ) and we could pick it up at our journey back home.
All in all I would come back.
Hotel has no parking , so be aware to pay 35 Pounds at nearby parkhouse. But Hotel offers 10 % discount

We stayed here the last weekend before christmas. The hotels location is excellent if you are in London to do shopping. The rooms have a nice size to be in London and the bathroom is nice. The bed is very good, the cleaning is good and the staff are very helpful.

The one thing that made a bad impression was the guy that came to fill the minibar. We had the "please come back later" thing on the door, but we were woken up by a man hammering on the door yelling minibar both days..
