I was worried that our room with two double beds would be too small for two adults and two teenagers, but was pleased to find that we had (just barely) enough space. The beds were comfortable and there were numerous pillows (inaccurately) labeled with the degree of firmness. The bathroom was tiny and had peeling paint and a few stains on the ceiling, but otherwise clean. Weird feature: room key had to be placed in a wall mounted device in order for the electricity to work. Furniture was old, sparse and poor quality. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, for example, we had a fedex delivery and they brought it right up to our room as soon as it arrived. Re: the internet, we used a nearby internet cafe recommended by hotel staff. Location of hotel was excellent - near loads of shopping, underground, busses, etc. Breakfast buffet was WAY overpriced and not too appealing. Better off eating at one of the numerous cafes on Marylebone HIgh Street a short walk from the hotel. I would suggest Patisserie Valerie where we had a delicious breakfast for less than half the price of the hotel buffet and it was freshly made to order. The menu was excellent and one could get just about anything. Also on Marylebone - Starbucks and a Barclays ATM (no charge for Bank of America customers, btw). For dinner or lunch near the hotel, try James Street - burgers and sweet potato fries were really good at Gorilla Burger and Made In Italy had terrific pizza and salads. Also Selfridges Department Store has an extensive food section where you can get drinks, fruit, desserts, sliced meats and cheeses, bread, etc, although pricey. The hotel has a small, but well stocked bar in the lobby and we found it very handy to buy a couple of beers there and bring them back to the room at night while we caught up on the news of the day. We chose this hotel because it was difficult to find accommodations for four in one room in London, and although it was far from luxurious, it was certainly adequate for the price (in London terms).

What more can I say other than the title? My parents are staying at this hotel at the monent, a trip I arranged for them. They have a lovely, spacious and well-equipped bedroom and the staff on Reception and throughout the hotel are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The public areas (reception/restaurant/bar) are pleasantly furnished and the food is excellent. The hotel is in a great location and other areas of London are easily accessible by public transport also. Thanks to everyone at Holiday Inn (especially Grace & Androulla) for looking after them. They are due to check out tomorrow morning and they've had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal hotel for our work leaving party in the Loop Bar just south of Oxford Street. The hotel was only 200 metres away from the venue (being just north of Oxford Street in a quiet street) so absolutely no street noise when we got back to the hotel.

Nice big English Breakfast in the morning to shake off the alcohol from the night before!

This is a good location for this hotel in bond street. The staff in the hotel are useless and clearly dont have a clue what their doing.
The room was really small and the bath room was the size of a cupboard.

This hotel has to be the worst hotel I have stayed at. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn's and have always enjoyed my experience but this was awful. The hotel looked like if was falling apart. Looked cheap and dingy. Our floor absolutly stank and the room was awful. The carpet looked like it hadnt been cleaned, paint was chipping off everywhere, bathroom lock didnt work properly and the TV was grainy.
The only good thing about it is the location otherwise we would have left straightaway.
Will not be going back there, no matter what the price!!

Despite other reviews that we had read and which had in turn worried us, we could not possibly fault this Holiday Inn in any shape or form!! From the initial booking over the phone to the hotel service including the bedrooms, buffet breakfast, location, pictures on the internet, baggage storage and tourist information... the hotel was top class! It is located so centrally that we never stepped foot on the underground, we walked everywhere, be it to the shops, tourist sites, or the West End shows. The staff were impeccable and very helpful. Breakfast was amazingly varied and plentiful and and kept us all going all day..! The location is ideal for anyone visiting London on a city break and who wishes to be close to basically everything! We had two really lovely adjoining family bedrooms whereby you could even choose which type of pillow you wanted; soft/firm!! We highly recommend this hotel!!

What a nice hotel just of Oxford St.. It's situatiated on a quiet street (by London-standards) and the area has a lot of restaurants within a couple of hundred yards.
The room was very nice for a long weekend in this city. If I had to say one bad thing about this Holiday Inn it would have to be the breakfast personel. They kept clearing our table while we were eating. Asking to take a plate where my food is still on is not okay, and they were almost offended when we said "No I'm eating from this plate". It was like they were told they had to turn tables and the faster the better. It's a shame because the buffet was actually pretty good.
The rooms has thin walls which caused us to hear the ajoining rooms TVs but that's what you can aspect in London.
