My boyfriend and I booked this hotel last minute when we travelled to London for a gig in May.

I had been before and was pleasantly surprised to find they have revamped the lobby area - it looks very modern with lots of comfy chairs and a large reception area. We stayed on the second floor. Room was spacious and bed was really comfy. Bathroom was nice and tidy.

My only small complaint would be there were only 2 towels in the room. I would have liked some extra (i.e for my hair after a shower).

We also parked in the car park, loads of spaces and really quite cheap for centre of London - £15 for 24 hours.

All in all, lovely stay, convenient location and a good nights sleep!

Basic accommodation .it is convenient as it is close to Euston station. Pretty soul less , typical bland budget hotel. Worth staying if it is cheap, otherwise there are other nearby hotels offering better overall value.

This is a solid IBIS right across the side exit of Euston station. Stayed there twice in June; both times for one night before and after traveling by train from/to London Euston, which was the only reason to choose this hotel. The rates were GBP 189.- for the mid-week night and GBP 139.- for a Friday night, with breakfast excluded and WIFI included. From my experience this is rather expensive for an IBIS-type accommodation, even for London standards. Breakfast was GBP 9.- p.p. extra. Although, quite central for London standards the area does not seem not to be a particularly interesting area of London.

Hotels rooms are quite small and basic, but functional and clean. The same goes for the bathroom. Standard IBIS, as one expects, so no complaints.

Check in the first night was fast and charming. On the second occasion, check in was also efficient, although handled matter of factly. This time a request for a high floor was denied and I was allocated a room on the first floor, although the hotel was not fully booked. On both occasions I received a voucher for a welcome drink based on my silver Le Club Accord card, which was a nice and unexpected touch.

WIFI was reliable and fast. Full English breakfast buffet for GPB 9.- was well worth. On the second occasion (around 9.30 am), the breakfast area was very crowded, but staff handled it very well, clearing used tables and keeping the buffet items available. Coffee was ok, but the first time two out of three coffee machines were out of order, the second time one out of three; causing longer than necessary lines.

To sum it up, a solid choice, if you need to be near Euston station, otherwise probably not a really good deal.

Hotel convenient to Euston Station. Room ordinary, small. No room fridge to keep drinks cold, aircon on freezing all the time (regardless of outside temp) with no facility to adjust as it is centrally controlled,
Wi if free & slow unless you pay for upgrade. No bars of soap only squeeze tubes. Windows can only to be slightly opened. No laundry lines in bathroom for drying. Restaurant & bar areas ok.
Hotel only so so

On 6/14, I stayed at the Ibis hotel for one night. I was looking for a place to stay that would be close to Euro star station; however, this hotel is not! There is a Premium Inn a lot closer to the Euro star station.
However, the Ibis hotel is close to the Euston tube station. The room is like a basic dorm room. There were no nice toiletries in the bathroom, only a tube of soap for the face, hand, and body. The quality of this hotel room was not equivalent to the price (150 pounds). There weren't a lot of good restaurant choices in the surrounding neighborhood, either. Check out the Premium Inn if you have to stay in the area.

Okay, so at least it's convenient to the train stations on Euston Road. Otherwise, there isn't much going for this place. At more than $200 per night (excluding breakfast) I would have expected more, even in London. The bathroom had a tube of a soap/shampoo combo screwed to the wall instead of bars of soap... that should help you get the idea.
