This was the last stay of a Madrid-Paris-London 11 day trip. The hotel room in Paris was "cozy." And if you've traveled to Europe, you know what that means. I had used 180,000 points for four nights and paid $50 pounds a night for an upgrade. A wonderful third floor room, with lots of space, very elegantly decorated. In a high traffic touristy area, right on Hyde Park, near shopping. Convenient to subways. We'd taken the Chunnel over, and subway to the Marble Arch stop. A short walk from there. I don't think I saw one elevator in a subway stop - if you're bringing heavy luggage, take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington, then $10 pounds for a cab to the hotel. The staff were very helpful. One of my irritations is paying for wifi, particularly in a place where rooms cost so very much. Free in the lobby only. A slight problem with the iron when sparks flew and minimal flames too when turning it on. But I have to say, their customer service was over the top in making sure nobody was hurt, replacing it, making sure the next one worked fine, apologizing, etc. They have customer support staff roaming the lobby answering questions. A special shout out to Lucia. She took very good care of me, and I'm sure many others.

My son's paid for us all to have afternoon tea here on my first trip to London and can I say we were not disappointed. They have it so write. The atmosphere is very relaxing and staff make you feel special. There are so many choices of tea to choose from and plenty of it. They are many sandwiches, scones and plenty of cakes to choose from.

Wow. This is one great experience. I cannot think of much to say other than faultless. Incredibly polite, cheerful and friendly staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Spotlessly clean room with the most comfortable bed. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness goes throughout the entire hotel. The toilets are just faultless

Breakfast, we were spoilt for choice, with everything and anything you could wish for

This hotel is a credit to J W Marriott and also a credit to London. It is just so right on all levels

Fabulous

We arrived From LAX and the front desk staff were very accommodating. (Btw take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then a cab to the hotel, save time as the traffic is horrible!) we had a great room and since the concierge lounge was being renovated they gave us breakfast coupons for the restaurant and also set up breakfast for elite members which was terrific! The concierge desk is great and we also got a lot of insight from our servers. Rooms are fine, beds great, smaller but that is Europe, bathrooms are well appointed. Easy to get everywhere and we used the tube or walked. Very happy they had umbrellas in the room! Rained everyday. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. Every member of staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly or courteous from housekeeping to the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. We upgraded our room for a better view and couldn't fault the cleanliness or comfort/luxury. The location was perfect, right opposite the beautiful Hyde Park and close to the open top tourist buses. Congratulation Marriott, can't wait to come back

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor and not overlooking the air conditioning units.
