I stayed for one night at this hotel and found the room to be very good for amenities and cleanliness, however the only disappointments were as we were on the floor below the entrance and restaurant you could hear staff walking around and moving what sounded like furniture very early in the morning, also the small window to the room had no view to speak of , only the facing wall and it couldnt be opened although the air conditioning did work very well.
Hair dryer and robes supplied, tv, tea and coffee facilities, fruit and bottle of water at no additional charge. The mini bar was well stocked, however expensive, and Gummy Bears and chocolate bar at £6 each item was terribly overpriced in my opinion. The breakfast wasnt included , and was expensive ,and we ate after we left the hotel just seconds away for £ 13.
When plugging in the kettle on the morning of our departure it must have tripped the sockets, and this was offered to be fixed straight away so a problem quickly solved.
The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the hotel is very close to Oxford Street ,Marble Arch and Hyde Park.

Room Tip: Do not have a room on the floor -1, I stayed in 906, due to noise from above in the morning

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to Marble Arch. Rooms are well decorated, clean. When we arrived as a family with 2 kids, although I confirmed twice, a large named club room wasn't arrenged so we simply shocked. But Duty Manager Hiral involved, she was very kind, rational and helpful. She organized everything and make us confortable. It was such a case that shows how a person makes different in a company. My rating could be one rather than five, but she succeeded to chance our disappointment to to full satisfaction.

Room Tip: Higher floors are sunny. Different locations (very close but seperate suites) so location of some...

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very attentive, especially Maurizzo. The room was very clean and well decorated. If I had a complaint it would be that the shower was over complicated but that could just be me being picky. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options and the dining room was bright and airy.
The location was perfect for us, close to Marble Tube station and the shops on Oxford street.
All in all a great place to stay if you are staying in central London.
We would certainly stay there again in the future.

The marble arch by Montcalm gets a lot right, tastefully decorated rooms, helpful and friendly staff, reasonable food, and a good location.

Unfortunately it lets itself down in the areas that were so easy to get right at the start. The hotel,has clearly been put together on the cheap: appliances don't work, showers and bathroom fittings leak making the floors lethal, pictures and fittings are affixed poorly, the wifi is weak and only works intermittently... It just appears that the owners had some cash left over after fitting out the Montcalm over the road and then cut corners with the marvel arch.

In conclusion a reasonable hotel but hugely overpriced for what you actually get.

Room Tip: Stay at the Montcalm.

The Montcalm hotel is lovely. The lobby is tasteful and appealing. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. We had a problem with: the bar fridges - 3 did not work, the TV did not work, the plug ins did ins did not work room 516 - they said it must be an electrical problem and surely it was. We had a king size bed, we were down graded to a Queen bed and all the ammenities worked. I want to love this hotel because the restaurant was great, the bar terrible for food, the Club room was very good and the hotel was well situated. For all the problems we had I must say the staff were most attentive. They gave us a reduced rate for our problems and a certificate for a reduce rate another time.

Would I return, probably.

We were meant to stay in another hotel but due to a broken boiler got moved here
The staff were very helpful and friendly
The room was clean and tidy and a great shower although with so many jets and nozzles took us a few minutes to work out
We had a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed
You could not have asked for a better breakfast

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor overlooking the breakfast area and was perfect

every time i travel to london it is quite dificult to find a good hotel, well located, good price, nce room.
well, this one was the one!
just take in mind there's no room service, just breakfast and they have 2 buildings so you may have to walk one block.
all the rest was fantastic
