Knowing that space is limited in big cities and hotel rooms tend to be small, we booked an Executive Room so we'd have a little space. This worked out very well for us, and we felt like our room - ground floor at the front of the building was quite spacious. I was initially concerned that our room would be noisy because it faced the street and the windows are not very sound-proof, so asked the staff about this and if other rooms were available. They only had smaller rooms available, but assured me it would be quiet, and they were right. It's a quite neighborhood and a short walk to a good metro station that connects into several lines.
One drawback of our room is that there was a building entrance just outside the bay window. So in the morning we would see people coming and going and they could easily see in if the curtains weren't drawn. This was not a big inconvenience to us, as we kept the curtains drawn when we were sleeping and dressing. We don't live in a city, so it felt odd at first to have people able to see us sitting at the table by the window eating breakfast, but "When in Rome...". We got over the lack of privacy, especially since we always had the option of closing the curtain if we preferred. And, frankly, we were out enjoying the city during the day and none the wiser. We had a safe in the room and the windows had locks and stops to protect from intrusion, but it seemed a very safe neighborhood anyhow, so that wasn't a worry for us.
We enjoyed the hospitality very much. Breakfast each morning was good, we liked the afternoon treat brought with bottles of water, and the evening champagne and canapes! We also found ourselves using the lovely seating area in the lobby several times during our stay to sit and relax in a space outside our room.
Overall, it was charming, luxurious and in a fantastic location!
