My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Rubens and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room, while on the small side, was designed perfectly and once the two of us unpacked, we had plenty of room. We were on the fourth floor looking out onto other rooms and AC equipment, but we were up high enough that there was no noise, and we didn't travel to London to look our of our hotel windows, so the view, or lack of, was no issue. Other than occasional squeaks from the hallway floorboards, our room was completely quiet and we got great nights sleeps. The staff was warm and welcoming, always sure to say hello and offer help when needed. One minor note: the shower door only extended halfway across the tub, and we did tend to spray water around the bathroom which could cause a potential slipping hazard on the marble floors. The location was perfect in close proximity to the tube, historical sites, and restaurants. We will definitely return on our next trip.More
