“Everything you need in the perfect place”

I'm studying abroad in London and my mother came to visit for a week and we stayed here.
I thought it was absolutely perfect.

The location is great- it's right in Victoria so it's near all the sites, along with great restaurants.
The rooms are very decently sized for a city like London.
The people who work in the hotel are friendly and ready to help you.
The breakfast and restaurant is very nice- definitely a perk.

I have really loved staying here and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Room Tip: The upper floors are quieter, but the lower floors aren't too loud, just a tiny bit noisy someti...

Upon arrival at this wonderful hotel, we were greeted by the staff who couldn't help us enough.
Everyone here is so helpful. We had champagne as a celebratory complimentary drink.
The room had a king size bed... That I had to look for my husband in. After a great nights sleep we went for breakfast....outstanding !

Was recommended the Rubens as an alternative to the Crown Plaza where we normally stay, having flown in late evening from Glasgow. Was provided with our Corporate rate and given a free drink voucher. Room was situated on the first floor, and was ornate with its own character. A large double bed with plenty of cushions and blankets, and with fresh linen. Flat screen television with music and pay for view options. Liked the amount of desk space and lighting to enable you to work effectively. Bar areas were nice and relaxing, and the Guinness was fresh and cold. Breakfast next morning was buffet service. choice of cold and hot was good, and waitresses brought tea, coffee and toast to the table. Liked the fact that there were plenty of staff to serve and seat quickly at the table. Overall thought the boutique nature of the hotel worked , and it was just around the corner from Buckingham Palace too!

Came to stay here on 9th November with my girlfriend, to take her out for the day and then propose in the evening. So I searched the internet for a good hotel around Central / west London area and this one looked good. I can honestly tell you that it did not disappoint. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home and were ready to help you with anything you could ask for.
The room we stayed in was a little on the small side but I'll call it cozy as it was so nice. I paid for a double royal Mews view room, I'm sure they would have had much bigger and better rooms but were out of my price range. Anyway it proved a good room to pick as the next morning was Remembrance Day and we had a great view of the Royal guards riding past on their horses.
Back to the hotel though, it was very grand looking and lovely inside, the bar area was really nice, and again the staff here were excellent. Drinks were not overly expensive for this part of London and this calibre of hotel. We dined in the hotel restaurant called The Library which was amazing. It was very quiet but relaxed in there and the food was beautiful. We had the Chateau Briande (not sure of the spelling) to share for our main and was without doubt the best bit of steak I have ever eaten.
My girlfriend was very impressed with this hotel, as was I, and happily we left as fiances!
Although this hotel was more then I would usually pay for a night away it was definitely worth the extra and I would be more than happy to come back and pay the same or more to stay here again.
we was treated with top quality customer service and always with a smile.
You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Rubens at the palace!

We booked in for afternoon tea and really enjoyed it. It was very reasonably priced at £25.00 a head but you got lots to eat and we even had to leave some as there was too much, the atmosphere was very nice and the service excellent overall we would go back

Just returned from a 2 day stay at this hotel and was thrilled at the quality and service we received. The location of the hotel is right next to Buckingham Palace and within easy walking distance of Victoria station. Despite being on a busy road, the hotel is amazingly quiet. We could not hear any traffic noise at all from our room. The room was clean, modern and nicely decorated. All staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful - they even went the extra mile and left complimentary cake in our room as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
The bar and lounge is cosy and very relaxing - I thoroughly recommend ordering a cocktail, these are some of the best I've had.
Overall we were very impressed with our stay and would not hesitate in returning to this hotel in the future.
